Refused to see my 6 year old daughter when she was having tooth pain as they had removed her from their system. Apparently we had missed 2 appointments over 2 years, 1 they had actually rescheduled so I hadn't missed it but because it showed as a miss on their system they wouldn't see my daughter. They claim they are too busy to remind people of their appointments, even though most places have an automated system for this and they don't notify you if they remove you, so you are left unaware and then get told to register somewhere else leaving a child in pain. Receptionist and manager had disgusting attitudes about it so I have filed a formal complaint. I have registered my daughter with the dentist that I've used for years (previously they weren't taking on new clients) so it actually worked out for the best as amazingly they are able to automatically send reminders for appointments, welcome to 2024.
Shocking, my son has been treated disgusting, went for small filling after a check up, filling ended up very deep got an infection had to have root canal, communication is very unclear so I questioned the dentist on the treatment face to face and also rang the practice the same day to question again, months later to find out the dentist refused to carry out my sons treatment due to me asking questions about her work this is half way through root canal treatment and says i am rude to question her work, son in absolute agony been treated with antibiotics for months, passed to another dentist in the practice to Finnish treatment in the mean time because I was losing confidence in the practice I got him into another practice the tooth has broke and again infected new dentist is shocked at the work carried out and is questioning if part of an instrument has been left in his tooth from the work this practice has carried out, he now has to be referred to a specialist to save the tooth or have it pulled, the place needs investigating 6 months my child has been in agony with infection on and off, he was perfectly fine before any treatment was started.
My other child again was told he needed a small filling after the treatment was carried out he also gained a very bad infection and the tooth had to be pulled, he also had no problems before the treatment was done.
Avoid this practice at all costs, legal advise and complaints process are been processed.
It's not even a 1 star practice anymore it's terrible.
This dentist is terrible DONT TRUST THEM WITH YOUR TEETH!!!! I had to have a root canal on my tooth, so they did it and they have made my tooth worse than what it was to begin with. All my tooth completely snapped off I have a tiny bit left on the root, so I went back and they put temporary filler on and told me I needed to come back for a crown, not long ago I had a major ear operation and I have medical proof that I had to stay in hospital for awhile, over time my tooth has been getting worse and whatever is wrong with it, it has been speeding to my another tooth, I tried to contact the dentist multiple times everyday to tell them that I can’t get to the appointment due to being in hospital but I had no answer so I went up the dentist and it was closed due to being short staffed, when I finally managed to get in touch they told me I have been kicked off the system, so now because they were short staffed I have now been kicked off the system and I’m left with temporary filler on a tooth that has been there for about a month, and a infection that is spreading into my other tooth which is very painful, and now the tooth they did the root canal on doesn't look like it can be saved, I am very disappointed in this dentist and not only have they caused me all these problems and pain but they put bright yellow filler on my tooth even tho my teeth are white. Now I’m so insecure of my teeth and iv been left with this problem and their dodgy dentist skills I have no clue what to do since they have kicked me off the system. Since they did that root canal all my other teeth have just started to wear away DONT COME HERE AND DEFINITELY DO NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE!!!!! (The only reason I left one start is bc I can’t post this without leaving stars!!!!)
The woman on reception needs learn some manners said they were taking children on but because my grandson as not been the dentist for a while who's 12 he was took of the list so she said he's had his chance and he can't go back. Her attitude stunk well got him in a dentist in shelton now and the receptionist couldn't of been more helpful. She needs have a bit respect for people ????
Been with them since they opened. Never had a problem until the last 2 years. Most of my appointment have been canceled on me multiple times for the same treatment. Dentist swap all the time. Call up in agony to be told the wait time is months away ? Then recently rang before Xmas (1st December 2022) saying I'm in so much pain and need to see somebody ( broken tooth/abcess ) to be told I've missed 2 appointment in a year? Which they canceled on me? And after a 3rd cancellation I told them I cannot book anymore time off work to go to these appointments. Says its fine and call when I can make an appointment. Apparently missed one they booked on for me without telling me? Then now saying I'm no longer registered with them ( yesterdays phone call) because of these missed appointments? It's an absolute joke. I've been waiting an ENITRE MONTH for me to be told I'm no longer registered with them. Why not say that a month ago ?
I’ve been coming to these dentists since I was 8 years old when it was a terraced house up the road. It’s moved to a bigger and better surgery now. The staff are wonderful, if your feeling a bit anxious you tell them and they put you at ease straight away. I went in for a root canal, on my front tooth. You hear so many bad stories, so I was very anxious. Dr Ali was brilliant he talked me through everything even showed me the needle he was going to do it with. It took him 5 minutes the rest of the time I sat there, was him getting the paste and holding my tooth together. I didn’t feel a thing! Half an hour in total, I had to go back yesterday to take the Temporary off and put my my crown in and it’s perfect even better than my old tooth. Absolutely brilliant dental surgery the best in my opinion!
Could not get an appointment due to covid for 2 years. Rang today to see a dentist gave my name and my details and I was told they would call back ASAP. When they did call back I was told I was no longer registered and that I need to ring someone else. They said they had my details confused with someone else's and that is why they said originally I was able to see them today.
I have not been in to the dentist as I had no tooth problems and I had not been made aware of their 2 year policy which is apparently written all over their office but is not anywhere on a website. They do not send letters out informing of this 2 year policy either. I have been in with my children in 2021 and there were no signs then about the 2 year policy nor was I informed of a 2 year policy whilst I was there. Now I am left in agony with a severe infection and have no dentist to go to.
After calling the hospital to track down my referral for surgery to remove my impacted wisdom teeth I was informed they had no records of any referrals made from this dentist despite them saying they referred me 2019 and 2021.
I then called the dentist back were they confirmed they did not refer me in 2019 and it was not their fault but the dentist. My referral in 2021 was apparently sent back to them in 2022 where my NHS number was requested by the hospital the dentist receptionist says they tried to contact me once about this but they have no logs or proof to provide me therefor it did not continue.
When the referral was re-requested in 2021 I was told it was a 2 year waiting list so today upun having a very bad infection i enquired and then I was told " that I could not possibly have dental pain for 4 years" something which the receptionist apparently knows about more than myself. Having explained I have a chronic pain condition I have indeed had pain for 4 years hence why I chased this up 2 years ago again only to be told it wasn't done in 2019 and the wait would be another 2 years. I now have a severe infection no dentist to treat it and no surgery to solve the pain.
I wouldn't trust these people to do anything and they clearly tell lies and make assumption about people.
Pre Covid I was registered with this dentist. After over 2 years of covid restrictions and not being able to get appointments, I tried to get an appointment this morning, only to be told that I have been removed from the list as I have not been for so long. Absolutely disgusting. I asked the receptionist what am I supposed to do and was told to try somewhere else. It is no wonder that we British get criticised for the state of our teeth when dental practices themselves are so unhelpful.
