It’s a free car park with easy access to the southwest coast path and walks towards Charlestown or Pentewan via Black Head. Can be busy because it is small, but it’s free!
Can be muddy. Limited spaces. However handy poo bin for the dogs and map of area. Great place if doing the black head circle
Can't beat a walk to Blackhead. Take the left path if you're feeling adventurous or go right for an easier route to the beautiful beach with the best waterfall in St Austell bay
The car park itself is not all that great, but the walk around is very good, great views with a nice walk, not too difficult but can be a bit muddy so do bring decent shoes and park with care as to not get stuck. The village itself is really cute and cozy but nothing available to eat so bring sandwiches. Otherwise a great place for a walk with a way back up from the beach if you don't want to go for too long.
It's a small, and for the most part, very muddy car park. It is however in a splendid location for those off to wander the coast path in either direction... And if that's what you're off to do, enjoy the numerous steps and the splendid views!
Small car park, perfect for little hike to Black head. It can only manage about 7 cars but you can park along the road if it's full.

Quite small and muddy,little cars beware it's quite boggy,I wheelspun quite a lot (ford ranger) but easy access to the footpath
