You wont be disappointed, been here a few times when passing through Ilminster. They produce amazing baguettes so full and great value, would easily feed two for a lunch. The other fresh produce looks great I must try on my next visit.
We came here after 3.30 in the afternoon. They have gorgeous homemade goods, the sort we used to get many years ago.I had a slice of apple cake, my hsband tried homity pie. Both were delicious and satisfying and felt like good, clean food- not cloying but with depth of flavour. We live in Kanchester. This is a big incentive to visit Somerset again soon!

Just popped in to pick up a few cheeses and wow, they are fantastic. locally sourced and really delicious selection. Unfortunately I live in Sussex, so will have to wait for my next visit to stock up some more. I would recommend popping in and trying some of the rustic garlic and herb, really good with a red wine, yum!
My nonsense was well and truly put up with. Arrived in the shop with my eldest son and his grandmother so the banter flowed. The young ladies put up with it me and helped us choose from the large choice of speciality cheeses available. #hommitypieFTW so sorry that I live so far from this gem.
Why have I never been here before? Popped in on a whim this morning and walked out with the best value, tastiest and largest baguette I've ever had. Generously stuffed with high quality fillings. You have instantly gained a regular customer. Superb.
Always helpful and friendly staff , great selection of cheeses , and homemade cakes and savouries , and probably the best value freshly prepared baguettes and sandwiches for miles around . ????
This is a perfect example of a high quality "local" dairy. I receive a ready, kindly welcome. I'm made to feel special and I leave with the very best in produce; in my case favourite cheeses. Second to none.
