Best KPortal Reviews

Update: Fantastic news this great pub is under new management and now fully reopened
Shenanigans serve the best pint of Guinness in Portsmouth. They also serve a great breakfast. The pub is a bit small but that adds to the atmosphere, especially when rugby is being shown. A good range of lager and wine is also available. Service is second to none. Highly recommended.
The large breakfast was amazing and the staff really attentive and nice .
Thank you !
A wonderful place to have your dinner with both family and friends. Don't forget to book your Wednesday special ribs, all you can eat.
Enjoy!!
Always on the lookout for a good Irish Pub. Small but well formed, this is a popular watering hole in central Southsea - easy to see why. Not too busy in the early evening, but just wait until later! Adequate seating for the size. Friendly staff.
Brought my son here for his first full English (he's American) and was not disappointed. The food was great and well priced. Staff were friendly and gave excellent service. Will definitely stop here on my next visit to Pompey!
Great breakfast, first time visiting and I’ll definitely go back. Great food with local butchers sausages from across the road. I was very impressed with the price of the food considering its great quality and quick service. Free tea and coffee too!
The breakfast here is amazing, different options and lovely quality meat.
We tried the Scottish and Irish, both tasted good and the square sausage was a nice change.
Highly recommend, will be returning.
I have visited a handful of times and thought i'd write a review. Love their breakfasts! Lorn sausage and white pudding were new to me. Menu caters for all appetites. Good selection of alcohol. I tried my first Baby Guinness here on St Patrick's day, which I really enjoyed! Followed by a pint! Hurry The Jug are a traditional Irish band and i've been lucky to have caught them a couple of times - being a musician myself I really appreciate hearing great live music and even moreso with HTJ as my grandparents were Irish and our Nana used to play this kind of music all of the time. Friendly service and will no doubt be back. I believe they have a pie menu ????
