Chips really nice but I could not finish the fish as it was dry and had a strange taste. The peas were tasteless and had some hard peas in it. Given the cost it should be worth finishing, instead I only ate the chips and a couple of mouthfuls of the fish and peas! Disappointing and won't go back.
Lovely little chip shop in shawbury. The food is always fresh and the portions are quite large for a good price. The service is always great and they are cheerful and polite.
The prices are fair, but man on man, the fish is totally flavourless. Or I've got COVID. But I'm pretty sure I don't have COVID.
Put some flavour in your batter at least. Some salt? Or anything. Garlic powder? Something.
I know cod is already a very bland fish, but I've never had fish so bland.

Popped in for chips, friendly staff and a massive portion for £2, the chips were crisp and hot as they were fresh from the frier. What an excellent chipper, I will be returning. Im not sure I took the best picture as it was dark, but what a feast.
Excellent value for meals excellent customer service and very friendly.
Large chips enough for a small family best in town. Great fish and great selection on the menu. Value box range is excellent value. Staff are friendly and courteous. Some people have given this a bad review but having lived in the village a long time I’ve known them to be really good most of the time occasionally you may have an over cook fish and chips but majority of the time it is excellent food
