Always great food and customer service. Very good portion sizes, definitely value for your money.
Absolutely awful food - we didn’t even touch it. Chips and fish were covered in black specks: clearly burned old oil was used to cook them. Soggy undercooked batter on the fish. Really unpleasant. Also I called ahead for allergen info, and the staff joked about it while preparing the food, I was standing right there. Honestly - avoid avoid avoid. I’d give zero stars if I could.
Beautiful fish and chips, chips didn't go hard after twenty mins like some. Batter how I like, crisp but not too crisp under. Price much better than I'm used to in and around penzance. My new fave takeaway

Rude staff who clearly didn't want to be there and would rather keep touching her face and not washing her hands, large cod and chips? Have honestly had larger mini fish and chips. Mushy peas are simply not they were just processed peas as you can see from the photo. All food tasted of old oil and so greasy that the grease soaked through the boxes. The whole 3 meals ended up in the bin. So greasy it made us all feel sick. If the option was available for zero stars this would be our option. AVOID.

The best fish and chips in St Ives by far. Consistent quality and big portions, it's worth the walk up the hill!
