Worst food ever! ???? used it every Friday during covid and was great. Really gone down hill. Never tasted egg fried rice so dry, bland and tasteless. Ribs dry and king prawns. I think it's changed hands. Will not be ordering from here again!
Love Shangai town but 3rd time order has been not wat I ordered 1st time sent spicy chicken wings instead of plain crispy phoned they came and rectified only to have them spicy again ordered tonight specifically asked for plain again yet again sent spicy it's a shame as I love there food but when I have been to work all day and order its not hard to get a plain chicken wing wrong if I could tolerate spice they would be lovely but unfortunate I can't x
First time using Shanghai Town. I was very impressed. A £70 order ready in under 15 minutes! WOW! All food hot and really tasty. The man behind the counter was very polite, and patient. The prices were slightly higher than I'm used to, but for the quality and service it's worth paying a little more. Excellent all-round and nobody had any complaints - we all really enjoyed the food. Many thanks.
Great food and service. I don't have any Chinese restaurants near my home but it was worth the near 40 minute round trip to go here. Be mindful that it's cash only but they accept phone orders in advance.
Have eaten here a few times. The food is ok. Just bog standard Chinese food you get in any Chinese take away in the UK. Same standard mass produced curry sauce they all use. The prawn toast has very little if any prawn in and VERY greasy. But the duck fried rice was very good. Shame they don’t do anything as a stand out special dish unique to them
Our first time using this take away, so glad we did it was very tasty, will definatly be returning soon.
17% price hike! Amazed to find the cost of my order has gone up by an extortionate 17%. When inflation is at 11%, this cannot be justified. Taking advantage of the cost of living problems to put in a much higher than inflation price hike is blatant profiteering at a time when people can least afford it.
Excellent takaway tonight, beef curry & chips, king prawn chow mein with curry sauce. Asked for 7.00 delivery, spot on time.
