Easily best bakery in town / anywhere to be honest ????
Get their sourdough every week along with a few pastries for morning walks. Brilliant selection, like to try something new along with the firm favourites of Nutella rolls and Chelsea buns, they’re so massive my husband and I always share when we get home with a coffee ☺️
Bought a Viennese this morning - £1.60 - and it’s as dry as a bone. I sliced it up when after a few bites I had not yet found buttercream or jam filling - to find it appeared to have been scraped on and off again as there was only a trace of filling. Very poor and I shall not buy again.
In response to your reply - ANY filling would have been nice! I am not going to make a further 30mile round trip for a £1.60 refund, but my posting is factual and based on my experience today. If you don’t wish to accept there was no filling in your product then that is your choice.
A great little bakery. Have been here a few times and always very good quality. Reasonable price and helpful and friendly service.
My grandson loved the sausage rolls, cheese straws and gingerbread men. A good selection of cakes and some very nice bread.
The Brie and Red Onion Sandwich is absolutely divine and I 100% recommend this to anyone.
Packed so full of brie that I didn't need to eat for a week afterwards. The rocky road dessert I opted for was just pure gluttony on my side of things, but it is also to die for!

A lovely bakery with excellent buns. Also, the lady was a font of local knowledge about places to visit and tasty eateries. Couldn't recommend more highly.
Wow. Fantastic bakery. Personally recommend the Pork and Stilton pies as well as the fresh scones. Utterly amazing! The scones are so light & fluffy. Incredibly moreish. The pie was rammed with filling and flavour. Wish I'd bought more! Will definitely go back next time in the South West
Absolutely amazing bakery! They have a really wide range of of vegan/ vegetarian options alongside those for carnivores :) I had a vegan 'sausage' roll and vegan peanut brownie which was incredible. I have not come across another bakery that offers the vegan/ veggie options that this bakery does! Also the best customer service- really friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Highly recommend!!! :)
Worth the walk to the best bakery in the area. I have no idea how they make money selling enormous cakes at the price. They don’t cut corners on quality. Have a look at the eccles or the Chelsea buns. They have a few vegan pasties now and these are great too.
