We were on our way to the airport and wanted to have a hot meal and ended up on Shahi Darbar. This was a very pleasant experience, we are definitely coming back! Shahi Darbar is a fancier Indian restaurant than the average one. I had Chicken Lababdar which was very tasty. Shahi Darbar also has very good looking desserts, but this time we were too full and didn't have time to try them (as we had a flight to catch).
Sat in on Friday 18 October. Had previously had takeaway which I already knew to be delicious.
The presentation of the food and the service were both fantastic. I really enjoyed the experience and the food was again top notch.
Well worth a visit for sitting in or takeaway. Never been disappointed with the place. It's the goto for a local luxury treat. Great options for the vegetarians among us too.
Booked a table for two Saturday 3rd November. Never been before. It was my wife's birthday. She wanted to go somewhere new to us for her special night out. Actually, this is a special restaurant with amazing customer service. The menu is extensive. The food was delicious and presented beautifully. What a find this was. Very reasonably priced too. A very nice meal with a nice bottle of wine was a perfect finale to my wife's birthday. It's nicely furnished. Give it a try. Thank you.
I went there with my wife 2 days ago. I like the atmosphere, the food presentation was professional, the taste was excellent. The lamb chop was the best we have taste so far. The staffs were all friendly. Highly recommended!
We went to Shahi Darbar to celebrate my birthday. A wonderful evening... excellent food, very attentive service. The icing on the cake was the lovely dessert trio that was presented to me for my birthday. The decor is nice ... definitely worth visiting for a great dining experience.
WHAT A FIND, my Husband is in a golf tournament around the area and my job is to find the best hotels and restaurants
Didn't I do well, this is the best Indian food we have ever had, it's like the highest Michelin star of all Indian restaurants, it was delicious, well presented and good portion sizes. The staff were helpful, polite and very welcoming
Would recommend, without a doubt
I had a fantastic takeaway from here, so much so that I actually phoned them back to compliment them. The food was devine, can't remember when last I enjoyed a takeaway so much. I tried a new dish as well that I will absolutely have again, paneer makhani, as well as my normal lamb bhoona, my husband also agreed his was lovely as well and was worth driving the extra distance.
Excellent food! We regularly order takeaway here. Our favourite Indian takeaway in the Inverurie area. If you eat in, the staff are friendly, the service is good, as is the presentation.
