Absolutely brilliant!! Hit debris last night on A66 and picked up wicked rattle, driving to friend’s in Whitby this morning and the rattle got worse. Pulled into the garage on the off chance he could see what’s going on. Ashley was brilliant, put the car over the pit, found the problem, assured us we were safe and spoke to the garage near mum’s and sorted out what was needed for a full repair when we got there. After worrying about the noise it was great to have a calm garage guy assure us all was ok. Thanks Ashley!
We were on holiday in Whitby and had broken down as we arrived! Ashley fitted me straight away and he and his wife were just brilliant and so helpful. He managed to fix my car without having to order parts which may not have arrived in time anyway. Absolutely amazing service, really efficient and couldn’t have been more accommodating, would highly recommend and if we lived in Whitby we would definitely go back. Saved our holiday!! And the car got us back home and is still going strong!!
Lovely people. We got stuck on a hill nearby in our campervan while on holiday in Whitby, and needed a tow out as we were wheel spinning on a hill near a river. Unfortunately I didn't have the towing eye for my van.
The guys at Selly Hill garage were nearby, so I dropped by and the guy there very kindly dug a towing eye out of a van he was working on and lent me it. Nothing was too much for them, even though we weren't 'paying customers', which is a real rare thing these days. Never change guys :)
Door handle on my van broke suddenly. Selly Hill Garage were extremely accommodating and fitted a new handle the next morning while I waited. Top class service, thanks again.

Had an issue with rear topmount on my golf. It failed on the way on our hollybobs to whitby. I rang Selly Hill Garage to check and found it had failed. They had other work on but put it aside to help me and my wife.
Staff were friendly and positive and offered a warm place to wait while it was being looked at thanks again guys now I know a garage to go to if I'm ever in bother with my car again while in whitby.
