We had a lovely visit to this café. Good selection on the menu but it was the scone that stole the show, really delicious. Totally dog friendly. Worth a visit.
A good lunch here today. Not very busy, very clean & friendly and all good. Portion sizes perfect & no room for desert. Outstanding service and great, well presented omelettes. Will definitely visit again.
Good idea to say you are vegetarian. How can Brie and cranberry be confused with Brie, ham and cranberry? A good place would only have charged for my drink! Fifty Degrees North at the eastern end of the beach is well worth the walk…. So this poor service will keep me fitter… a walk and better food!!

Brie and cranberry is number 3 on your panini menu
Brie, Ham and cranberry is number 2. I ordered number 3, saying, “Three Brie and cranberry” …. And wondering if you source three different types of Brie. Not sure who is the one hard of hearing! But it seems the customer just has to be wrong.
Do not recommend!!! Waitress and chef were extremely rude because we left the restaurant and told them we would come back later.
Awful customer service, and very expensive.
I Visited a few weeks ago for a coffee and it was very empty and the service was odd.
I gave it another chance, it was again, completely empty, we sat and had a look at the menu. The waitress came over every 20 seconds asking us are ready even though we had only just sat down and just started looking at the menu. We made it clear we didn’t know what to eat and she still kept pestering us. We told her three times we weren’t sure what we wanted yet. she seemed to have no patience even though we were the only customers. I felt very pressured to order. We decided we would come back later as we were unsure of what we wanted to eat.
The chef and waitress both randomly gave us attitude as we were leaving asked why did we sit down if we weren’t going to get anything and questioned us for using the toilet. They came across very aggressive. We did not complain once and told them we were going to come back later however, their attitude was appalling. It was clear why they never have any customers.
Less than average food, overpriced for what they offer. Cheese sandwich made of plain, artificial bread from supermarket and half handful of cheap crisps-over £6- would happily paid this if bread was homemade or at least sourced from a decent bakery. I was there with children, they liked the food, but the quality of it was really poor, frozen chips etc. Service was good and place was clean.
I don't think I will visit again. With so much competition in the high street ,I wish them good luck...
Didn’t let me and our 3 yo use the toilet despite being a previous customer and the public toilets being unusable
Worst fruit scones I’ve had. Overpriced at £3.50 each. Tesco express, next door sell identical scones at £2.00 for 4.
When you pay over £3.00 each for a non descriptive scone, we did eat them, what else was on offer.
Shame on you for admitting that you make your own scones, in the county that is famous for scones.
Looked clean and pleasant, should have guessed by the fact it was empty on a sunny July lunchtime. Has a ham and cheese sandwich, waffer thin ham Square cheese and sliced bread £7.50 !!!!!! Worst place ever steer we'll clear total rip off
