Haven't visited for a couple of years but it has definitely gone downhill here. Dry and tasteless fish, poor chips. A real shame as it was previously a hidden gem
Excellent fish and chips. Good service,polite staff well worth a visit.
Used to be a lovely, friendly fish & chip shop. Tonight, for the first time, the new management rudely said I could not wait inside with my small, well-behaved dog. Instead I had to stand outside in a freezing wind. Then both the fish batter and the chips were completely soggy, yuk! Not a happy experience, they've lost me as a regular customer.
Loved it. Just moved to area and after reading rave reviews decided to try as well. Glad we did. I had a Large Cod and large chips to go. All beautifully cooked and very good quality. And at just under a tenner, cheaper than my old neck of the woods. We will be be regulars for sure. ????
Worst fish & chips I’ve ever had. Batter was pale and soggy and fell apart, there wasn’t one crispy piece at all. Chips were awful, like cardboard. Food was also just about luke warm. Not cheap either, £19 wasted as food was inedible.
Best fish and chip shop for miles! Food is always fresh, cooked in fresh oil, not at all greasy or sickly. Great prices and variety of menu items and all food is of high quality and delicious, no cutting corners for these guys. Staff are all very friendly, food is cooked promptly and restaurant is always clean and welcoming. Highly recommend Seashells, they really go the length to satisfy all customers.
Popped in for fish & chips on the way home after a long walk today. First time we have used the local fish & chip shop since moving to Halesworth. We were not disappointed 2 x cod & chips with mushy peas. Two clean plates at the end of our meals says enough. Would recommend to family & friends.
Such a lovely bunch of people! Great service. Very child friendly. Brilliant food and not too expensive. A must if you fancy a tasty meal.
