Booked my car in for service and MOT on short notice which they were able to accommodate, had the necessary work needed in order to get and MOT passed.
Booked it in again the following week in order to get the advisories sorted also.
Both times were as smooth as nice lads easy interaction and competitively priced. What more could you want.

I’ve been using this garage now for almost 20yrs, mainly for MOT’s and any work required to get the car through its annual inspection. This last visit was no exception. Lee and the lads went out their way to get my vehicle back onto the road asap. I couldn't thank them enough for the exceptional customer service that I have just recently received. The job was no topping up of the washer wipers that would set you back £30 at Halfrauds, this was a full gearbox lobotomy.
Car picked up from the home, repaired and back on the road the same day. Professional, fair, reasonably priced and trustworthy.

I had an MOT done at halfords last year and the price they quoted was on the pricey side. I got recommended to go to scotts bank motors to see if they could do the repairs any cheaper before I paid halfords. The guys were great and so welcoming and friendly. I never once got the feeling that they were "trying to take advantage of the fact I was a woman and charging me through the eyeballs", they were honest and knowledgeable. They did all the repairs for a cheaper price which was great. My car also had a problem with the brakes not reacting a lot, I did mention this to them. It wasn't part of the MOT I don't think but since it came out of scotts the problem completely went away. Can't beat that.
I rang them today (06/05/2023), as I recently discovered my drivers side indicator wasn't working on the front or back lights, but rapidly flashed on my dash so I knew it needed to be fixed immediately. I spoke to stu on the phone and explained the situation, I was just looking for advice and to try to get a price, we didn't even get to that point because he asked me how quick I could get down there (baring in mind I wasn't booked in and they had no prior knowledge of this problem), I live maybe 10 mins away so I drove straight down. Stu greeted me with another friendly guy I remember from last year and told me to pull the car around, he popped the hood and within what felt like a matter of seconds he sorted the problem. My indicator is working front and back as it should be and is flashing at normal speed now. I insisted he let me pay for it but he refused. It's so good to know there is a garage with honest guys in it, since my grandad died I don't have anyone to ask about my car. Just simply amazing kindness. I appreciate them fixing such a dangerous fault so quickly.
I'll be going here for my upcoming MOT and future ones too.
