My second time using Sandal bodyshop and once again they were fantastic.
From the reception staff to the painters and everyone in between they do a fantastic and professional job.
If I could leave 0 stars I would.
I had a vehicle in with the bodyshop, who later informed me after committing to the work and ordering the required parts that they cannot complete the work - this was not an issue.
The parts were ordered for the repair work to begin, but upon being advised that the work could not be done I was advised that they were non-returnable and I would have to purchase the parts. Since the work needed to be done, I did not have an issue with purchasing the parts from the business to aid the repair with the next bodyshop that was going to complete the repair.
After I had agreed to purchase the parts from the business, they then informed me that they had in fact returned said "non-returnable" parts and I was now liable for the handling fee for such, somewhere in the region of £1600, so they had issued a refund for the parts but not the handling fee. I challenged this as I needed the parts anyway and they'd been returned without my knowledge or agreement after me specifically agreeing (in writing) to purchase the parts and specifically instructing them to send them with the car, so I should not be liable for the handling fee for their error - which they eventually agreed with.
Fast forward 2 years later (now, 2024) and I am still waiting for the refund for the approximate £1600 for the "handling fee" I was not liable to pay as they returned parts I was purchasing rather than handing them over with the vehicle when this was collected.
I have been in contact with many different people in many different departments and nobody seems to want to take any responsibility for the error, or for returning my funds for items I did not receive and they have wrongfully taken from me. I am in consistent communication with the business who are dragging their feet with a substantial amount of money that doesn't belong to them.
Excellent quality of work, my car was stolen and recovered. Required driver side rear wheel arch repair, bonnet respray, bumper respray, prop shaft donut and locks and keys changing.
My insurance company was unable to repair economically so I asked BMW to quote the work and they managed to do everything in budget preventing the insurance company making it a total loss.
The team are very knowledgeable and skilled body repair specialists, could not be happier with the quality of work and the office staff were so easy to deal with and took care of everything for me. My car came back fully valeted and looked better than when I bought it.
What a fantastic job they did on my accident repair. Hayley was brilliant to deal with - and they acted speedily too, collecting my car within hours of being referred by my insurer, also arranging a hire car for me to use in the meantime. When the car was returned, it looked brand new. Absolutely delighted with the first class service from Sandals, highly recommend!
Absolutely amazing service. Had a little bump in the snow. Damaged my car front end. They did an amazing job staff was so friendly and professional. Would very highly recommend and will be using them in future again thank you ???? ????
I must say I was very pleased with the repair of my vehicle YR61 *** a few weeks ago... I really do pick up on poor workmanship or poor customer service and it irritates me as this is not how it should be. BMW Sandal approved body shop was flawless. Thank you ???? The 3 series was repaired to a very high standard and came back cleaner and shinier than it had ever been. Small attention to detail and I believe it was Hayley on the desk was fantastic when I popped in to arrange it to be dropped off when was working near by. Very helpful, showed me the car all ready to be returned to me to ensure I was happy. All I can say is thank you so much. Outstanding service nothing to grumble about whatsoever ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Brilliant experience with Sandal Bodyshop. Had the car in for a warrenty claim and dealt with Gary in the process. Excellent service from him and his team from start to finish. I was kept in the loop constantly and was beyond happy with the result. Would not hesitate to use these again.
The staff -well turned out as expected , efficient , smart , helpful & with a caring manner . They quickly assessed my vehicle & safety issues . Highly recommend .
