Used for years, usually to pick up lot's of fish and chips for a my mum and dad's birthday to share with family. Fab mushy peas and curry sauce too! Always great quality, fresh and good value with friendly people - thank you. Ol
There’s clearly no such thing as customer service niceties here. Asked for food and was questioned why we needed that much - does it matter?! After explaining that we are a family of 5 she still looked disgusted at the fact that she had to serve us what we ordered. Absolutely absurd that someone comes into your business to spend money and you’re questioning why!
Food is moderate at best.
Literally went as our local chippy was shut but I would never go here again.
Learn some manners and customer service!
Chips very dry, tasted like warmed up from lunchtime won't be back
I bought 3 fish today from Sammy's and I can definitely say its been years since I had fish as good as those we had today they were EXCELLENT and so were the peas and gravy.
The old dear serving is as miserable as sin and speaks very abruptly, food was average chippy food, portions were VERY small, prices were above average. Will only use them again if no other chippys are open.
Not friendly in particular the elderly woman taking orders. I asked for light battered cod. She said it was all light battered, it wasn't, the batter was 10 mm thick and had to be removed to eat the cod hidden underneath. I like battered cod but can only eat very light battered as it causes me digestive problems if not. I removed the batter and ate the fis with the very nice chips . I live in Warrington and was visiting my son who lives in Norton. I suggest the owners visit the Station chip shop in Warrington to see how fish and chips should be served with a light batter . I will not go back to them.
Always been a fantastic chip shop never had any complaints over the food ever highly recommend Tommy lowes chip shop best chippy out there
