First time I’ve tried this chippy - absolutely won’t be the last. Fish was fresh, cooked perfectly - tasty, firm yet tender, held its shape when I broke bits off (I was eating it with my fingers) - I used a teaspoon for the mushy peas (I was staying in a Premier Inn) - batter light & crisp.
Chips similarly crisp outside, fluffy inside, not greasy and not loads of sharp potato shrapnel. Just perfect fish & chips. And the mushy peas were mushy (not runny).
I was visiting Stockport for a County game (haven’t lived here for over 30 years but come back for as many games as I can) and Salty Towers 2 is now my designated County chippy tea place for County weekends.
Just go and try them out.
Fast and pleasant service as well.

Gorgeous chips and plenty of them. Some really good deals too. 2 puddings, chips and 2 sausages for 15 quid

Kebabs smelt amazing
I collected meals for 5 people including fish and Donner / Chicken kebabs, all the food was excellent, highly recommended.
Very disappointed. After reading all the reviews I decided to try salty towers 2. Chips were greasy and burnt,fish batter was soggy, but I loved the peas. Hopefully next time,if there will be a next time,I get something I can enjoy eating, Sorry just telling the truth ☹️
Fab food but asked for curry sauce to be served separately (due to sharing meal). Told they couldn’t do that for the fixed price and would have to charge for a portion if I wanted that. Why?
Honestly there salt and pepper chips are ???????? can't " fault " the place , ordered last night and had a miss hap with cans of coke but accidents happen and they were apologetic and actually phoned to apologise if it was abit late but not at all! Ordered twice this week after trying the salt and pepper chips for the first time ????????
Excellent service and food . Fish is lovely and the chips are nice and crispy. Will be definitely going back
Reviews are obviously personal taste, i spent £35 the other night on my first ever visit. Price was reasonable for 4 meals, staff were lovely but fish (3) were over cooked and just a bit too crispy as were the chips. like i say its obviously personal taste. maybe give them another go sometime.
