Got referred here from 111 for my 2year old with it being a Sunday and GPs are closed. First young man told me I should have asked 111 to send over a prescription, I’m not sure what for as my toddler doesn’t need medication for this. He then told the other man that “there is another referral” to which he rolled his eyes (I felt like an inconvenience at this point) The second man took us into a room and said my toddler didn’t look sick.. I advised him what I told 111 and asked could it be her ears, he point blank said no, 111 didn’t mention anything about her ears so it’s definitely not her ears that’s the problem.. not sure how anyone knows this for a fact without doing any checks but apparently my toddler doesn’t look sick so just give her paracetamol and come back if it happens again.. no thank you! I will never return to this pharmacy if this man is working again. Waste of everyone’s time and still no further forward!
Great example of why it always pays to go independent. Just across the road from a big national chain you find the very knowledgeable Michael as the resident pharmacist. He goes out of his way to make you feel welcome and gives top advice. Highly recommended!!! Thank you Michael!
Lovely pharmacy, with very friendly and helpful staff. Some car parking near if luck allows otherwise on roads near by. Still free parking!
