I've edited my review from an earlier one.
So, my first visit here was a little underwhelming, not bad, but just... underwhelming. However, on seeing my review, the manager reached out and was very apologetic and insisted on making things right.
We ordered again and the food was amazing. The pickle tray was the best I've ever tasted, and our main meals really, really tasty. Lots of depth of flavour.
I do accept that my first visit was probably a one off, and would recommend them. I'd definitely order from here again.
And other than the food, their customer service is second to none.
The restaurant is modern, clean and busy.

We have had several take aways but tonight was the first time in the restaurant. Nice place. Lovely atmosphere. Food very good. Staff friendly and helpful. Will deff be back in to the restaurant. Good price. Good value. They are now doing bottomless brunch here. Will be giving that a try
Delightful staff. We had a huge order, very efficient and brought out to my car. Given 2 free bottles of wine when host found out it was for a birthday. Food was delicious. Absolutely recommend.
First visit to Saffron Lounge tonight and despite living locally we’d never been. Genuinely top quality food; super tasty and fresh. Some of the best Indian food we’ve had and this place is on our doorstep! Service was brilliant; attentive but relaxed and polite. We didn’t book but staff were happy to accommodate us. Definitely booking next time!
Excellent food. Tasty and hot. Delivery time up to an hour depending on day. The food is all freshly prepared so takes a little longer.

Excellent food, great service. Spotlessly clean. We have visited five times and tried different dishes every time, never disappointed. Great value for money. Staff lovely and friendly, can't do enough for you.
Absolutely amazing evening at Saffron Spice! Thank you to the amazing staff that made the evening a memorable experience! A big thank you to Annie who provided amazing service throughout the evening and kept everything in order even though it was manic. Also a big thank you to the rest of the staff for being so welcoming. This was our fist visit and we will definitely be returning.
This was the best Indian we have had in ages. The host was a complete gentleman and lovely as he couldn't do enough for us.
We will definitely be going here again.
