A great carboot, well-organised car park.
I would say a real old-fashioned carboot.
Grab a cob and a coffee and off we go.
Very fun . Good place for relaxing off day . And nice breakfast & nice coffee too .
It's very interesting to find a lot of old tools. You can also find useful household items at affordable prices. Many, many children and women's clothes and shoes, many of which are new.
Arrived at car boot as advertised on site open 7 may. Several other cars there also having to turn round. Wasn't on. Why bloody advertise it if not on. At least put something up to say.
£2 to visit a sale in a field covered in large pieces of wet sticky animal excrement. It was impossible to avoid and we've spent considerable time since cleaning it off our shoes. I'm not being unrealistic, I've no problem dealing with a wet muddy field if it rains, but i would imagine that enough money is collected to provide the sellers and customers with a more suitable sale ground. Thank goodness I didn't wear my sandals.
Still a great place to sell for good money. Some good quality stalls. You can get a real bargain on new and used :) recommend anyone pop down on a Sunday morning :)
A great car boot, for all ages, always lots of clothing, toys and general goods for sale. There are Toilets, which are kept pretty clean. £2 entry fee for 2 adults. Sundays and bank holidays.
I like this carboot because it’s not commercial, most sellers are individuals selling household items. It’s been relatively small this year due to Covid, but otherwise it’s my favourite. There is on site food/snacks available, not a huge variety or options for vegetarians though. There are also on-site toilets which is really good. Could take better Covid precautions- as some other carboot have done, like enforcing the one-way system etc.
