Unsure where to start when reviewing this company.
I am absolutely lost for words at how amazing they have been, from start to finish!
Unfortunately I was involved in quite a serious accident last month (at no fault of my own) and my car was badly damaged. My insurance company sent me a list of repairers for me to pick from and I chose S&R based on the reviews. The many other repairers all had lower ratings (on google) so even when my insurance company, asked me to find an alternative garage due to them not having a courtesy car available, I could not be more pleased that I stuck to my initial choice to have the repairs completed by S&R.
From the moment I spoke to Cliff over the telephone, (baring in mind I was still very shaken from the accident physically and mentally, I was in alot of pain, and was extremely stressed by the back and forth, and delays with the insurance company) on top of the above, I suffer with mobility problems and have two young children, so I can not be without a car. I know Cliff could tell I was really stressed and upset and he immediately said, bring the car down to him, so that he could have a look at it. I mean even his reassurance and manner on the phone was a godsend that day as I was so stressed. He could have booked me in days/weeks later, like any other garage as of course they were already working on cars, but I was so grateful he saw me that same day! I took the car down to him and he talked me through the damage etc. He also gave me advice on trying to get a courtesy car sorted etc.
After this, S&R said they would be in touch once the parts were ordered.
When the owner collected my car, he was just as reassuring and lovely as Cliff had been. This may not seem like much but those weeks had been a nightmare, for various reasons, especially finding out the driver, who hit me, was not insured meaning I would have to not only cover the cost of the excess but also the hire car!
These were the first conversations I had in weeks that were positive and proactive. The owner assured me my car would be a priority as they knew I was having to pay for the car hire daily (again as the other driver being uninsured meant I could not get a courtesy car from my insurance company).
While they had my car, every time I called (there was never a wait to get through to someone) Cliff was happy to give me an update and each time I felt reassured I knew what was going on and that they had everything under control.
My insurance said the work would take 4 weeks. I picked up my car on the 10th day! So much sooner than expected which was even better as the hire car (I had arranged through Enterprise) was costing a fortune!
Even up until the day of collecting my car they (Cliff and the owner) were absolutely amazing. To me, and to my two girls (which Cliff was entertaining, while I transferred all my belongings over from the hire car, to mine, and he even helped with this too). They have gone above and beyond in every way and I can not thank them enough. I will be recommending them to everyone I know!
As I said on the day, I can't thank them enough for everything they have done to help me, and of course, my car looks as good as new.
The quality and standard of the work they have provided, has been more than a 5* service, let alone their efficiency, professionalism, friendliness, knowledge, advice, support and understanding.

Where to start with this one,
Received the car back with a lot of damage, scratches, a dent and overspray. They forgot to change the damaged tyre and replace/repair the damaged alloy amongst a lot of other issues ( see photos )
They had the car back and Steve was very apologetic and I accepted these things can happen. They got me to come and have a look and there was still a few things wrong which they sorted.
I received the car back and was told that they’d get a mobile alloy wheel refurbisher out to repair the wheel because they don’t do this in house ( it’s diamond cut so really it should be replaced as there’s only so many times they can be repaired so for me to lose a cut that’s not me being put back in ‘pre accident condition’ ) being an insurance job for a non fault accident.
I then go to fill up the screen wash and it all comes straight out the bottom of the tank through the wheel arch. Whilst the bonnet was up I noticed that they’d ripped some foam when replacing the wing.
Steve came out and sorted the screen wash and actually asked if he can send me the foam for me to change it myself.. he then said it’s ok actually because someone goes past my house on their way to the workshop so they’d do it.
Now a month on and I’m yet to see a mobile wheel refurbisher or the replacement foam.
Avoid at all costs, this isn’t a professional outfit.
I was in a fender bender recently, and my car insurance recommended S&R. From the moment I arrived, I was treated with friendliness and patiently explained the repair process. They even got me a courtesy car the same day! S&R worked closely with my insurance company, so I didn't have to lift a finger. My car was back in tip-top shape in just a week, looking even better than before the accident . Clean and sparkly inside out ! I can't say enough good things about S&R. If you ever need car repairs, they're the place to go
I had to have some damage sorted on my car. S&R body repairs were one of the business" that my insurance company listed to choose from. I read their reviews and as they were fairly local to me, chose them.
Well what fantastic service, from Trina in the office, who booked in the repair and kept me informed throughout, to the guys in the workshop, who worked their magic and had my car back to me by the end of the day. I know the damage was only probably classed as minor but to get it done so quickly and it looks perfect is absolutely brilliant.

So pleased with this service and work I had done. This garage was recommended by my insurance company and did not disappoint. You would never had known my car had been in an accident and it was really badly dented and scraped. They didn’t only repair it to such a high standard but polished it and it looked like a brand new car. They were polite, helpful, kind and professional. Would definitely use them again. Sal
Very good, efficient & courteous service received from S&R Body Repairs on my replacement door, front wing and door mechanism damage.
They collected my car on time, kept me informed throughout, and repair was finished to an excellent standard.
My vehicle was cleaned prior to return and they even re-fitted my original door guard! Nice touch & attention to detail.
