Had a lovely chill time at Ruby’s and wondered round the lake. Vegan alternative was made and well enjoyed. Emma was serving us and gave us a lovely service. We were made to feel welcome to take our time and wonder the lakeside. Super relaxed. Good place for pondering. Friendly neighbour cat visited too!
Fabulous cafe tucked away of the main road into Capel. Nice breakfast, seating outside overlooking the lake. Friendly staff, very peaceful place. On a cold frosty morning warm yourself up inside in front of their real log fire.
Consistently tasty, well cooked produce that tastes amazing. Nestled in a beautiful and peaceful setting with a fishing lake surrounded by trees and little sculptures. There are also friendly resident ducks who love to have your leftovers (not that there is any!) The staff are attentive and always serve your food and drinks with a smile. I don't really want to share this café, because it's so dam good.
Hopefully you won't be able to find it, and I can get a table when I go for breakfast.
If you are able to get here you will have the best fry up you have ever tasted. Seriously it's that good as the Heineken advert says "probably the best breakfast in the world".
Simple delicious food using good quality ingredients in a relaxed lakeside setting. The recent renovations have made it even better. My favourite cafe by far.
Cannot be beaten, best cooked breakfast around. Chef always happy to tweak menu so that you get just want you want, you are never rushed and always made to feel welcome. Excellent service.
Perfect point for enjoying nice weather next to lake and fishing. Staff is friendly. I just had a tea but i would like to have a nice meal next time.
