Used The Ruby for the first time this evening. Nothing crispy about the salt and pepper crispy chicken. Chicken chow mein was bland and tasteless. I’ll stick to Burntwood’s best chinese, China Chef in future. Poor quality
Will never use this place again.

Ordered from here for the first time and very disappointed with what we got. Ordered 4 3in 1s and some wontons all came stone cold. Rang the restaurant to see if we could have a refund for it as we would have to use the microwave to heat it. The girl on the phone was very rude and not very understanding. She told us to carry on and use the microwave to re heat the food which is supposed to be delivered warm at least. Because there isn’t anything physical wrong with the food she denied giving us a refund unless we sent the food back. Agreed that we would send the food back to get a refund but still waiting for it to be collected. I understand that it’s “just cold food” but when you’re paying nearly £30 for a few items from a “well established business” you’d expect the food to be delivered hot. No other takeaways deliver cold food and if they do they sort it out
We always enjoy the food and dishes. Maybe it’s what you get used to at your local, but this is a favourite Chinese. I’d recommend the Jill Juen King Prawns, Crispy shredded beef in Szechuan and the chilli chips ????
A better experience than my last Chinese takeout. I had fillet steak with wine & chili, which was ok, although I don't remember the 'gloopy' liquid the last time I had this elsewhere.
Had 2 currys with fried rice, the curry was cold and greasy and runny the rice was overcooked. All had been reheated as served to take out within minutes, meat was like old shoe leather
I am newly relocate to nearby so first time order delivery from here. Very tasty Chinese food. service is good provided by a family business. delivery on time and accurate. definitely become one of my family bistro.
To be honest! Very disappointed. So after 1hr30mins waiting for our order to be delivered we finally sat down to a freezing cold greasy meal. The soft noodles we ordered turned out to be soft onions and beansprouts and the salt and pepper chicken was actually like eating a whole garlic. The egg fried rice was not egg fried or to be honest fried at all and we were charged for extras that we didn’t order! I didn’t really want to rate you a 1 but however they’re isn’t an option for anything lower. I won’t be ordering from here again and I’ll be sure to tell all my friends and family not too as well!!!!!
