Fantastic service and reasonable price. Not our usual garage, popped in following recommendations. Ruan fitted my car in as an emergency despite being obviously busy. Quickly diagnosed the issue, ordered the part and replaced it, all within 24hrs. Could not fault - seems a genuine and nice guy, will be using him in the future!
We're on holiday had serious trouble with the car found ruans services on line had good reviews so went over with the car he was very busy but stopped with no hesitation to look at my car plugged it in found fault sorted it out told us come back next day he solved the problem so we were able to enjoy our holiday and get home safe. Absolutely brilliant service wish we lived closer would be our garage if we did top marks .
Car broke down on a Friday for a weekend visit to Cornwall, and got recovery to tow it to Ruan. Come Monday he went above and beyond to get me back on the road so that I could get back to work for Tuesday! Top bloke and honest. Price was expected for what was needed compared to others. Thanks Ruan.
Really great experience with Ruan! We were on holidays in the area with the engine warning light popping up after some difficulties already the week before, with suspicion of weak battery causing these warnings. Ruan immediately ran the diagnostics, confirmed the suspicion of the battery being the likely culprit, ordered a new battery and replaced it a few hours later on the same day! Without appointment and despite being very busy. Super friendly and helpful, and the car runs again like charm since then. 5 stars for great service and helpfulness, well deserved! He definitely saved the remainder of our holidays.
I agree with all the 5 star reviews. We were on holiday, due to travel 290 miles home the next day when I had what sounded like a huge problem with my brakes and abandoned the car near the A30 leaving my friend and my dog whilst I went for help. I tried a couple of garages on the trading estate but all were fully booked for nearly 3 weeks. I was in tears, so stressed. And then i found Ruan's and he said he'd work late if he had to in order to help. He was also fully booked but came to the rescue immediately and he and his colleague worked through lunch to sort it. He test drove it and made sure he was happy before letting us leave. What a lovely man, a lovely team. So grateful for their kindness.
Ruan went above and beyond to make sure that my car was back and ready to go for when I needed it. We felt completely hopeless after being towed down the A30 but Ruan answered all of our prayers - we couldn’t have asked for a better mechanic! He even talked us through everything that was wrong with the car and charged a very reasonable price for his service. Would definitely recommend
We were staying in Sennen for a holiday and the night before travelling 400 miles home, had a broken wishbone (diagnosed by AA). We rang around 20 garages in desperation and Ruan’s was the only one who was willing to squeeze us in and turn a very stressful and potentially expensive recovery home (£2 a mile) into a stress free and friendly fix!! Thank you so much Ruan! We’ll never go anywhere else while down in Cornwall!!
My mini cooper started showing warning light for engine while on vacation at Penzance with my family. I tried calling many garages in the area but all said that they were fully booked. Ruan was fully booked too but was gracious enough to ask me to visit the garage for a quick diagnosis. As soon as I arrived, they did a quick diagnosis and informed me that is was not minor issue with the mixture. They reset the warning light and I was on my way to Newquay. I can't thank them enough. Most friendly and helpful garage I have ever experienced in the UK.
