Went for Sunday lunch. Book table for 2 pm
Very disappointed got there pub it was full
Had to wait for a table to become free
Before we could be seated.
Food between 3 people was a small dish mashed potatoes. Carrot. Peas.
One roast potato each one Yorkshire that was rock hard. 2 slices of meat per person
Jug Gravy. Will not be rushing to eat there again in a hurry.
We are very lucky to have The Royal Oak as our local pub. Emma, is a fabulous landlady who serves great, tasty food at very reasonable prices. The staff are always helpful and a lovely bunch of people.
We regularly have meals in a group of up to 11 people, the food is always good quality, and dietary needs are accommodated.
Thank you
Friendly little village pub called in for a pint of pop on way back from a bike ride
Vert friendly and comfortable local pub. Good selection of drinks.
Great local pub,serving good food
Good customer service all the workers are very kind never had a problem here
The Royal Oak, North Leverton is my local so my rating is based on personal knowledge. The young landlady, Emma, as given blood, sweat and tears to keep this place going during covid and speaking as a professional chef (retired) she as done a remarkable job with limited resources. I am not rating a restaurant but a friendly pub that serves good food, we should all support our locals or they will be gone for ever.
During a time when pubs are closing down every day and society is becoming more insular, here is a pub which plays an important and necessary role at the heart of its community. The landlady has fostered excellent relationships with locals, resulting in a friendly clientele who are welcoming to visitors. Staff are lovely, there is an outstanding range of gin and tonic options, and delicious home-made pizzas are available at excellent value. If you are in the area then this is a pub well worth a visit ????
