I've had a lot of dental problems over the years including being born with hypodontia. But Andrew is amazing, he's helped me with confidence issues based on my dental health. He's even had to pull teeth out for me and he gave great aftercare and advice. I highly recommend this practice if you want top tier care and support
Called to register my son (2y/o) as an NHS patient and immediately got an appointment. Does not accept any new adult NHS appointments but offered me to be on a waiting list. Shortly after booking our appointment I received an email where they have a link to fill out online forms. We arrived 20 mins early and waited until our appointment time. It was a quick check up just looked at my son's teeth and counted it for record. Hitesh and his assistant was really nice and gentle with my son. They let us take pictures of my son on the chair as it's my son's first appointment. They gave him a sticker and wished him happy birthday in advance which is a couple of months away. The practice is clean and uncluttered and we had a nice experience.
Mr Adamson and this practice have served my family well for the best part of 20 years. Mr Adamson will always do his best to save a tooth, rather than opt for expensive alternative treatments and his advice and care have been second to none over the years. Both Mr Adamson and the staff have always been courteous, friendly and professional throughout our many visits over the years. A dental practice you can truly depend on.
I went to see Andrew Adamson regarding a pain in my lower front tooth to be told my him in no uncertain manner that the tooth was dead and he would not be able to do a root canal so it needed to be pulled along with the two other teeth adjoining that could be problematic in the future. He said that my teeth were to small and the root nerve to deep he would not be able to reach that far down. The options he gave me were to pull 3 teeth lower front and suggested dentures or (implants) which may or may work. He was abrupt and nonchalant about the whole situation. I left there distressed and very anxious about the fate of my teeth. I immediately contacted an enodontist and made an appointment. The X-rays showed the decay however it was determined that a root canal was the way to save the tooth. I had the procedure yesterday and it was a great success. Not only did the specialist remove the infection and clean out the area but strengthened the tooth to last. With good oral care my teeth will stay strong and healthy. I’m thrilled to have kept my tooth and thankful I didn’t proceed with an unnecessary procedure of having 3 teeth pulled by Andrew Adamson. I advise people to always get a 2nd opinion as had I listened to Andrew Adamson I would be minus 3 front teeth. Sounded like the path of least resistance for him. An easy job with bigger pay over a small root canal. I will not be seeing him again. I would caution any patient of his to think twice before allowing him to just do whatever he suggests.

Honestly the best dentist around all staff loverly practice is very clean I suffer from anxiety and the staff made me feel welcome and helped when I was anxious about having my teeth checked also they was amazing with my little girl when checking her teeth and gave her a sticker

This place needs to re consider its cancellation policy.
I totally understand the frustration with missed appointments but sometimes these things can't be helped but to be penalised for it is not acceptable especially after apologising profusely. I would have even paid a small cancellation charge if it meant being able to re book but instead they have told me to go elsewhere!
It seems that now im pregnant and desperate for treatment which is free on thr NHS, coincidently they are telling me they wil not book any future appointmentments because I missed an appointment in aug 2021 and was ill for my last appointment in dec 22 so im no longer allowed to book. Seems strange considering the last appointmentment was fine when I was a paying customer. Paid for treatments all life and when entitled to free dental, im turned down.

I've been seeing Jenny for some years, along with my daughter. She is such a caring dentist who puts you at ease if you're nervous. She's brilliant at giving advice and has a great sense of humour. Just what you need! The ladies on reception are always welcoming and friendly. I can highly recommend this dentist.
