Just had a Sunday lunch here with a group of 19 of us. Just about one of the best meals we have had for a while, meals included standard Sunday lunch, beef,pork or chicken and for those who wanted something different fish pie,chicken massage,scampi or a nut roast. All the meals were wonderful with special mentions to the amount and variety of the veg, cauliflower cheese was also magnificent. Desserts were equally as good and well appreciated by all. Thanks very much Jill for you and your staffs efforts.
What can I say a beautiful pink pub with the most caring team, food and drink to relax unwind and socialise with loved ones. You can go anywhere to get a beer and some pub grub yes..... But my question is why would you? This pub does that with added style. Thankyou to Lisa and her team Charlotte Kirsty Ryan SJ Alice Nat Luke Lawrence Tom Clint James Mailia Vix just to name a few of the team who we've met a massive thankyou
Lovely staff and place to have a family reunion!
Host squeezed us in which was great. However, food took nearly an hour to arrive. It was tasty but portions weren't majorly big and we were still quite hungry afterwards.
This pub is consistently warm and personable. The beers are always lovingly looked-after and served with a friendly smile. It has loyal following of locals and the well prepared food makes it a great venue for family get togethers and events.
Excellent food never had a Gamon Stake so big. Could not fault this place

They were very busy but even a slightly request for change in a menu was not too much. Thank you for a lovely meal. Very family friendly.
