The worst garage I have been to in my life. Brought my car there after being recommended by a work colleague after it went into limp mode. Left the vehicle with him said he was going to carry out diagnostics at a cost he said of £55.00.Mechanic called several hours later and said the turbo was leaking oil onto the dpf filter and the throttle mechanism would have to be replaced. He quoted me £2500 for the repairs including labour. He then went onto to say it wasn't worth repairing the car and he knows a scrap man who would take it for £150.00. I said I would come and collect it. When I arrived he was not there only his apprentice who then charged £66.00. Had it repaired for nearly £200.00. Like I said worst garage I have been to in my life
This garage will rip you off charged over £300 to fit clutch cable then clutch is heavy so he tells you car needs a clutch and cars not worth it scrap the car
Take the car to another garage and cable was fitted wrong new garage fitted cable correctly and cars fine when I questioned this garage he said car should of gone back to him
My reply he should not of let the car go out in this way this is second time he has had my family over
I have contacted trading standards to investigate this company
The review below was the last car you try a give people the benefit of doubt but it very clear this garage is over priced and doesn’t do the job properly AVOID
Advise this garage will have you over.
Over charges for the jobs and doesn’t do the job properly then if you question him will tell you to scrap the car it’s not worth repairing but only after you pay the bill
Trading standard should check them out
Have been going to this garage since being taken over by new owners about five years ago. They are always pleasant and polite, explain things well, get work done in a good time at a price that compares with garages further afield. Would be my first port of call when I need them in the future. I must admit I rarely stop for petrol here though as the prices tend to be high.
Brilliant service here today at a really good price. Got shown what was replaced and given advice on brake pads and tyre wear. Engine was cleaned as part of the full service. Highly recommended.
