Once again my “ emergency” was dealt with within 2 hours from call to home. Very polite and efficient staff from reception to dentist and staff in between. Always a friendly reception. Thanks for putting the smile back on my face????
Been going here all my life. Rang Oct time as hadn't got the link to rebook was told no longer on the list ? After battering emails back and fourth with practice manager am told been taken of for cancelled appointments ? Cancelled at least 24 hours before due to having to work (nhs I will add) nothing said of appointments they cancelled which a cpl were hours before cos dentist was ill!! I won't mention the changes in dentist over the years since Mr Gatus took on a managerial roll. No written or vocal 3 month warning just taken off shocking and unprofessional. Was going to take it further but what is the point to recieve treatment like this. They just don't care.
Had my 4 year old son for an assessment and the dentist was disgusting his manner and the way he spoke to me was disgraceful. Trying to explain what the issue is with my son but in the most awful attitude going where you're meant to be pleasant and explain to a parent nicely what has happened. Got told to get up and get out and find another after i confronted the way the dentist spoke to me about the proble. Was told to call back for xray paper to take to a hospital for him to be xrayed then he wasn't tall enough for the machine. Then I get a phone back this morning to say basically I'd be seen again by the same dentist to take xrays of him there and I asked to be seen by another dentist as his attitude absolutely stank towards me and the way he spoke and my son didn't want to go back there wither as he said the dentist was nasty. The receptionist who ever phoned me this morning was talking over me and her attitude was rude as well telling me she's putting the phone down now and wed have to be seen elsewhere because I asked to be seen by a different dentist.
Over all disgusting attitude by both dentist and receptionist.
Had an emergency appointment booked today for my son to fix his broken front tooth with dentist Aima M.-E. Extremely dissapointed with the work is the least I can say. Job was was rushed, end result was never shown to a parent and quickly was sent out from the room. Once checked tooth at home(living not far away), rung back to the dentist explaining situation hoping for poor work to be rectified for then only to be told that if child is not in pain then need to book another appointment which isnt available until end of December.
Dentist said ‘ i will try do my best to fix it’.. Well if this is the best then someone should review her diploma. If incompetent in skills required to fix tooth then why just not say and reffer patient to someone who will be able to do the job!? In some of the prievious appointments this dentist also reffered to my childs teeth saying that they are rotten… which again was not the case. And very unproffesional in my oppinion. Very, very dissapointed. Tooth almost looked better prior dentist appointment than after it. Showed picture of the ‘fixed tooth’ to other people and they could not believe what they seen and even asked if i am sure its not temp fix or is it a finished job. Unbelievable.
We had the misfortune of encountering an insultant receptionist, this person should not be working front of house, or speaking with vulnerable NHS patients.
It is clear reading reviews left by other patients my experience is not an isolated incident, it seems to be the norm for staff to behave in an unacceptable manner and for management to take no responsibility. Luckily I recorded all calls and have now raised my concerns with the General Dental Council.
I can’t speak for this place but the other practice robinsons owns down the road is the filthiest most disgusting practice I have ever seen in my life..and as for the so called dentist nidal zakzouk then be prepared to meet the most vile human on earth..the place needs shutting down asap
Don’t know why everyone hates this place. I’ve been here since i was around 5 and Nidal Zakzouk is a very nice man and an amazing dentist.
From start to finish everything was lovely. I wasn’t registered with them but they managed to fit me in the same day. The dentist was amazing with me. She walked through everything that was going to happen & when there was a problem she made me feel comfortable & at ease. The said problem was sorted & all the staff made sure I was fine before I could leave. Everyone went out of their way to make me feel comfortable at all times. Could not recommend more.
