I would like to thank Amazon for her help and care this morning. I have been trying to get an appointment for a while and I popped in for a blood test this morning and spoke to her. She was brilliant and helped me to get what I needed. Nothing was too much trouble. In a time when we are all complaining about the difficulties of accessing the Dr's, it is important to recognise excellent customer service by the ever stretched reception. Thank you Amazon
This GP practice is absolutely appalling. When your call is finally answered, after waiting well over an hour in a queue, all you're told is "There are no more appointments available" I told the receptionist how much pain I was in, and how distressed I was, and her reply was "Go to A&E" I found her attitude to he very rude and patronising, and she showed no empathy or understanding. When I asked "how are people supposed to get their symptoms diagnosed and receive treatment if they can never get to see a doctor. She just repeated "there's no more appointments
I had a good experience with doctors and nurses but before I could get to them reception is just one of the worst ever. I need to change medical surgery.
Lack of understanding on my part regarding gaining a fit note caused myself some stress and pressure from work. I still don’t fully understand how the system works but am hopeful riverside will guide me when needed
Just need to time to navigate the new IT system :-)

I called this morning at 9.17am to cancel my appointment for 10.10 I waited from position 25 down to position 1, at 10.29 while on hold I got a tx saying how I had missed my appointment and needed to reschedule, fine so I stay on the phone as it's now gone past my appointment time so now I need to apologise and reschedule it and then at 11.25am someone answered the phone she said hello and hung up on me, I was gobsmacked, yes I know how busy it can get but that's not anyone's fault I am a completely understanding person but she didn't even give me the chance to say hello back she said hello and then ended the call, I waited for almost 2hrs just for somebody to hang up on me, absolutely ridiculous
Rubbish can't get them to answer phone they want to know your personal problems non of there business when it's private and want to discuss with doctor can't make appointments disgusting
Was seen by the most arrogant patronising doctor ever. She was so rude did not let me speak then when I was trying to talk about my concerns and symptoms she cut me of laughing to her self then asked me a question and when I was middle of talking she said “ bye now” and told me to leave without getting any help or advice. Very unprofessional and also I remember her from a different gp and people always used to complain about her and everyone used to call her evil Indian lady and now I know why. The woman made me cry but the lovely ladies and the reception helped me to get another appointment sorted.
I have ever seen horribly bad surgery u can’t never get any appointments the lines are always full have wait 40 q which is 1 hour 40 to get answers and at the end again same words sorry call back tomorrow 8 am
