Came here as a visitor, having unfortunately needing to use the local A+E.
We arrived at 1330 just before they shut and they still had a great selection of pastries. All the flavours looked great so we bought a selection to pop in the freezer and have in the future.
We bought:
Curry pie
Lasagne pie
Chicken and black pudding pie
Steak pie
Steak and tatties slice (this was huge and VERY filled!) very delicious.
A cream and jam finger
And some crisps (they serve TAYTOs ????)
£16. Bargain.
The girl serving was lovely.
It’s a very retro looking bakery but shows they are more bothered about the taste. Honestly doesn’t look as good as it is! Don’t be fooled by the outside.
On a main road so can park outside to pick up.
Will be coming back if I come up this way.

The pies were delicious. Very nice steak, blood pudding and haggis pie as well as the minced pie! Apple turnovers were also very good!!! Definitely recommend this place for pies and baked goods :)

The steak pies were really good. Well filled with tender steak. The Lasagna pie was delicious too. We're just visiting the area but wish we had a baker like this near us!

The best steak pies I have ever bought. Packed with very lean steak inside a very light pastry crust. Superb....please don't change the way you make them. Top class confectionery across all products.

Always top notch. Lasagne pies,sausage bean and tattie pies, steak pies, jam stars. The list goes on.
