Das Restaurant Victoria kommt nicht ganz an die Klasse des Hotel heran, ist dennoch ein sehr gutes Restaurant. Die Küche ist traditionell Französisch, natürlich mit Schweizer Einflüssen. Das Ambiente auf der atemberaubenden Terrasse ist das grosse plus des Restaurants. Die Speisen waren alle sehr lecker und die Weinkarte ist gut bestückt. Leider war der Service nicht gut (Wein wurde nicht nachgeschenkt, Teller lange stehen gelassen, etc.) ich möchte dies jedoch nicht überbewerten, da einige Servicekräfte noch sehr jung waren und die gegebenen Umstände (COVID-19) das Leben auch nicht einfacher machen.
Tout comme il faut! Eine Reise zurück in die Vergangenheit der französischen Küche und des Service - sowas gibt es nicht mehr oft. Auch das grandiose Hotel und die Restaurantterrasse (samt Aussicht) entstammen einer anderen Epoche, herrlich! Die Preise sind von heute, aber sicherlich angemessen.

Restaurant in old beautiful hotel on a hill with spectacular view, to take advantage at the better view you most likely have to reserve in advance or you would gett a inner table with less of a view,professional service.
I orderd the beef curry tasted good less indian more light and sophisticated sauce, would be better If they used tender lamb meat and put the sauce in a small bowl and increased it a bit.

Great chateaubriand, but the prices are too high given the quality of service. We paid over CHF 100 for a bunch of bite-sized desserts from the buffet.
Further, the servers forgot multiple orders, failed to pour the wine and other beverages, and didn't pay attention at all.
Déjeuner dans la véranda de la terrasse (heureusement sinon salle sombre). Cuisine sans vrai saveurs, pas digne d'un Relais et Châteaux. Le champagne maison est insipide (est ce vraiment du champagne français ?). Information au dernier moment qu'un 2ème service est possible pour 2 d'entres nous, trop tard !
Étonnant que ce soit encore reconnu Relais et Châteaux, les serveurs n'ont même pas de veste à leur taille... seule l'addition est du niveau 4 étoiles.
Je ne recommande pas, il y a de bien meilleurs restaurants dans la région pour ce niveau de prix.

A few small problems with the request for a dish without nuts, I ended up with pistachios in my dish. A service problem too, I understand that they are students, but a lot of problems in terms of the quality of service and no discretion, when they are around the tables, we order a plate of cheeses to choose from on a trolley, and no one does not come to warn us that the cart is not available today, we had to ask again.
On the menu some important information was missing, a dish where no egg is indicated, and we end up with an egg in the middle of the dish
But otherwise congratulations to the chef, it was really a pleasure to eat
