Avoid this place like the plague. Thank me later. Worst Fish and Chips I’ve ever had. The fish was drenched in oil. The batter was nasty. The shop was smelly. This chips were not nice. The curry sauce tasted like Indian curry. The portion was very small for a large. Told the person at the till about how awful the food was. Got all defensive and started shouting random things completely unrelated. So much for customer service. Just do yourself a favour, save your money and go elsewhere. I wouldn’t eat here even if I was paid to.
The last time I went to this place was a few years back. I was surprised to see the owners had changed which gave me my initial doubts. I was peckish so just wanted chips, asked for chilli sauce on top and the guy said 20p, I said fine and paid the extra (although I have never understood takeaways charging for sauce). The worker/owner handed me a tub of sauce, I said "can you put it on top of the chips", he gave me a nod as if I've asked for something he has never come across and walked away. The service here is poor, shop is dirty and taste is not the same as before. I'd defo agree with a lot of the 1 star reviews. I'm lucky I just went for chips and saved my money for another shop!
Absolute waste of Money ! Not a single customer inside, explains why. I went in for some Curry chips costs £4.40 for a small portion. What’s more disappointing was that the chips made are used with the cheapest quality potatoes. Half the chips were drenched in oil and grease definitely not fresh hand cut, tasted stale and tooo crunchy ….. eurghh feel sick after eating this. NEVER AGAIN!
I loved the service. The store is clean and the food is fresh and well packed. Its a pleasure to find such quality food in the area. We will definitely be going back and highly recommend gou to tdy their medium cod and chips especiallh the mushy peas!

Went to the restaurant and ordered fish and chips for takeaway. The large portion was very filling and very very tasty. The best thing is everything was made fresh!!

Honestly the worst place ever! Not even worth one star but I have no choice. I wouldn’t even go Here if it was the last shop on earth as the way they treat u is an absolute joke. Horrible service,horrible portion sizes just horrible all around
Don’t go there their service and food is terrible you will waste your money and energy. Fish and Chips too cold, dried, taste bad, all burnt ???? do not go there.
The fish are burned too hard and dried same as the chips too small,burnt to brownish rubbish service it takes too long for you to get.Poor service don’t go there is waste of time food is tastelessness they give you the left over too cold ????????
