Best KPortal Reviews

Find yourself in Tiverton then this fine Italian restaurant is well worth visiting. Great service and quality food combine in a well destined setting. The seafood linguine is excellent as is the calamari starter. Recommended.
Lovely visit for a birthday meal with a group of 20+ people. All food came out promptly for everyone. My personal main was a little over salty and garlic bread was relatively lacking in flavour but everyone else was quite impressed by the food. The level of service was great nice to have the back room allocated to ourselves for such a big group.
I would come again to try more of the menu.
Just come back from our first visit to Ponte Vecchio. I'd read some great reviews, and had heard from a work colleague about how good the food is, and they weren't wrong. Had the antipasti starter to share, absolutely delicious, and we had cheesy garlic bread too.. if you don't like Garlic bread generally, then this one will change your mind!! The olive bread that came with the antipasti was like eating air, it was so light and fluffy, but so full of flavour. The main we had, can't remember it's name, looked like it was a small plate of food when it arrived, but there was more than enough, and it was fantastic. Tiramisu and cheesecake for dessert were the best we've ever, ever had.Great friendly staff, they had made a note of it being my partners birthday and had decorated his dessert plate. lovely atmosphere, and I highly recommend the place. Will definitely be back, and soon! Fabulous.
Had a lovely meal last Friday at Ponte Vecchio with mostly hits and a couple of misses. We were super impressed with our main meals. The risotto and pasta mains really packed flavour and tasted very nice. Slightly underwhelmed with our calamari starter and found this quite chewy and stringy. The creme brulee was too eggy for me but my wife didn't mind it as much. The restaurant itself was very smart looking and service was very good. Staff were attentive and looked after us. Overall, a lovely experience and I would return if ever in the area again.
We had reservations for three people for 7 pm, in the garden. Wonderful atmosphere, very nice, experienced staff, food and drink was delicious. We had lasagna, cannelloni with ricotta and spinach, and pizza with goat cheese, peppers and caramelized red onions. I will certainly come back here more than once, and I can confidently recommend to my friends!
Recommended this place by my mother and she didn't let me down! We were accommodated on the day for a family of 5 at 6pm. The service was prompt but without being overbearing.
The food was all delicious. The children's spaghetti bolognese was a good portion for our 6 year old but the lasagna was not quite big enough for our 9 year old (and if I did have one (tiny) gripe, it would be that the children's lasagna was served in a molten-hit dish).
Our 11 year-old hit the adult menu and ordered a calzone and - WOW - IT WAS HUGE!! He absolutely loved it and managed to polish off 70% on his own and then the rest of us were happy to help!
I ordered the sea bass and at £23 a dish I was hoping for good things - and I wasn't disappointed. The fish and accompanying prawns and mussels were cooked to perfection and the flavours of the garlic, herb butter were the perfect blend.
I too would recommend this place and I will make sure I thank my mum ☺️
Our first time here, it was absolutely packed on a Wednesday night so you it's going to be good. We were not disappointed, food was so lovely, all 3 courses. The bellinis were lovely and went down well too. All staff were very welcoming and jovial. Our waiter Oscar was wonderful, he was very attentive, nothing was too much trouble, despite how busy it was. He was professional whilst being funny and down to earth. He really made it a lovely experience and is an asset to the restaurant. We would highly recommend this restaurant.
Visited during the week, lunch time, with family.
We were very pleased to discover that the restaurant had quite a few other people in,some were having lunch outside in the patio. The atmosphere was very pleasant, wonderful warm welcoming from the staff. Everyone can find on the menu something to their liking and fantastic gluten free choice too!
Food arrived within appropriate time, cooked to perfection. Presentation was absolutely fantastic! Sertainly will be back again! Thank you for such a beautiful experience.
