What a pleasant place to shop! Great selection of products and the owners, Graham and Jo, will add-on whenever possible. Excellent customer service - Graham, Jo, and the staff - Fleur, Ellie, and Jonathan - always kind and helpful. Highly recommend
Fantastic little shop that seems to stock everything. Great gluten free section and even gluten free beer; always a treat on holiday.
Had a lovely few days in Polruan and came across this gem of a shop, like a tardis inside! Much more than just a paper and sweet shop (although they do sell these!), it is really well stocked with fresh veg/fruit, meat, herbs/spices and much more. Staff were super helpful too!
For a small village store it has a superb range of goods. Seems to have improved since recent change in management. Integral part of our 30 year history of holidays In Polruan.
Whilst on a short break popped in a couple of tine to this convenience store and must say well stocked and very pleasent staff. What's more handily located in the heart of the village.

A very good small shop. It has most of the essentials that you need, and it has a very good selection of fresh fruit and veg. Staff are kind, and respectful.
This is the only shop walking distance in the town-needless to say you rely on this shop if you are on foot or in an emergency. The shop has a small selection of items, it is costly compared with the average shop. Unfortunately we had an awful experience - that was consistent during our week in the town, staff was rude and unwelcoming. This is something that perhaps could be deterred if there was a choice and walking away would serve as a deterrent- but in this case it is not. I would say avoid if you can- do your shopping before reaching the town and offer some space for reflection as customers deserve better.
