A big and well designed space that's ideal for big groups.
It has a bar, cafe-type food and lots of space.
It's a really well designed space, in side an ancient building. Good atmosphere but it could feel a bit cavernous if not busy.
Overall it's a really useful locale and the only thing in that part of town.
Overall, good for gatherings and having a drink or a snack. It is ideal for students. The atmosphere is pleasant, but the noise makes it not so great for older students.
Bring back Jack for the Monday pub quiz. It's so bad now.
Also please offer food at quiz times.
Ordered and enjoyed quite literally the best gluten-free pizza from here. Ordered to take out. It was absolutely delicious.
Shambolic food service, many folks food ending up at the wrong tables meaning folk were waiting over an hour for burger and chips. When we finally got our food it was pretty good but very annoying seeing folk get your food after 20 mins and then wait another 50 mins for you to actually get to eat.
Great place to stop for some breakfast or lunch, to have a catch up with a friend, do some work or have a meeting. Friendly staff and nice environment. Reasonably priced, but not cheap.
Good place for an event however service was a bit slow
