This was a stand out place in Beaumaris. Lovely interior, and dog friendly, too.
The food was fantastic. We ordered a burger and loaded fries -- the sauces were clearly homemade, and rich and tasty. The coleslaw was also homemade, with subtle flavour rather than overpowering onion. The burger had the most delicious smoked bacon and I can't stop thinking about it - will definitely be back.
Highly recommended if you want food cooked from scratch rather than something thrown together.
A great spot for watching the bay over Beaumaris - right by the Ferris Wheel and has great views even on a rainy day. Service was quickly and friendly. I had a nice big portion of chips and kids had fish and chips and a huge slice of cake. Great experience.
An exceptional cafe! We had a collection of wonderful dishes for breakfast that day. We started with a variety of fried, scrambled as well as pushed eggs, which were served with bunch of various delicious sides such as beans, baby tomato and Spinach, that all in all enriches the meal and valuable, no doubt. Enjoyed their coffee prepared with milk and special tea with a light dessert to conclude the narrative. Absolutely a wonderful atmosphere, which is further enhanced by the splendour of the distinguished and kind staff. Well done!
Lovely cafe, great menu and very dog friendly. The cafe was fairly busy when we arrived around lunchtime on a Friday, but staff greeted us, directed us to a table inside and were nice with our dog, bringing him water etc.
The menu was good and we both selected from the hot sandwich menu, I particularly enjoyed the rarebit on rosemary focaccia.
There's a nice outdoor seating area too, but it was a bit chilly to sit out on the day we visited.
Hmm can’t say I or my party was a fan of this place. Food was very questionable and very expensive for a little town in Wales. Almost £5 for a tiny bowl of frozen chips and a 30 minuet wait for them in a mostly quite restaurant. Food was brought over without cutlery and staff had problems understanding our order. Given the options on the high street, I’d say check out one of them instead.
I really do not understand the positive reviews for this cafe because my visit was an expensive and disappointing one. I ordered a Bacon, Lettuce and tomato sandwich which was expensive at £9.50. When it turned up it only contained one fatty rasher of bacon which had been cut in two to pad out the sandwich, and 2 very thin slices of tomato. The rest was grated lettuce. Very poor. The service really isn't good. The lady at the table next to us had ordered before us and she was still asking about her order when we were leaving. I assume this place gets its business from its great location as there is nothing else going for it unless it makes some changes
Lovely cafe, really friendly. We sat outside in the November sunshine watching the sun over the water, absolutely beautiful. Blankets provided to help our knees warm. We both had fish finger sandwiches and they were superb, light crispy batter, delicious fresh meaty fish, homemade tartar sauce and coleslaw and plenty of it. Highly recommended
Right on the harbour front with amazing views of the Welsh coast and Mount snowdonia, staff very friendly and chatty, even remembering our drinks order the next day, definitely go back
