Amazing garage. I had a breakdown and nobody could get out to me for 3 hours. When I explained my situation to Chris and his partner they were out to me within 20 minutes.. CChris did everything he could to call on people he knew to get my tyre and then he changed my tyre there and then. They made me feel so relaxed as I was a little worried being so far away from home but they were absolutely brilliant all round and didn't over charge on anything. Very fair, great customer service and even better people. Thank you so much for rescuing me!!!
Can't recommend this place highly enough. Mechanic was a star! Came in with a detached sump guard and 20 minutes later it was reattached for a very reasonable price. Thanks Pier Garage!
The guys at Pier Garage couldn’t have been more helpful and really went the extra mile when our car electrics went haywire half way through a caravan holiday in July. We managed to get the holiday back on track ok! Many thanks .
Pier Garage is a solid, small family business located on the main A83 road in Ardrishaig. Kris Gordon has now taken over at the garage from Dad Ronnie, who is enjoying a well-earned rest, at least on the days he is not drafted in to help out!
My last visit was a week ago to have 2 new front tyres fitted and as usual, the service was first class - helpful, friendly and efficient. The wheels were balanced on Kris's new acquisition, a 'state of the art' wheel balancing machine.
The car was on the ramp for just about an hour and I left, happy to be legally compliant again on the tyre front!
Pier Garage is one of many local businesses which provide a great service to the Mid Argyll community, and I wish Kris well in his future endeavours.
A very helpful service. He went out of his way to offer help and advice to us, when we were clearly just tourists passing through who had a car problem. I was impressed!

Shut at weekend, but looking at other reviews I'm sure they do a good job
Ronnie never answers the phone or phone back when I leave a message on his answering service. Further, he doesn't fulfill on promises to do certain things. He writes notes on little pieces of paper which he loses, leaving you in the lurch.
