After arriving at Sandwich we headed straight to Piece of Cake for coffee and something to eat. The staff were really attentive and the service was excellent. The cafe is ideally situated in the middle of town and set us up nicely for a long walk.
No longer by old name as shown here in photo. The staff admitted to forgetting about me in the corner and didn’t take my order for a while. Scone was crunchy? The sandwich was great. Cheese and red onion. Granary bread best part.

Just finished telling another friend about the wonderful experience we had while visiting your beautiful cafe last Wednesday.
All the dishes looked extremely tempting but settled on the traditional English breakfast. Beautiful especially the sausages! Your staff even kindly served them up to Charlie, our dog too!
What made the visit particularly pleasant was our waitress. I think she was called Mia. She was so attentive, extremely professional and a utter joy. She also served up some beautiful Lattes! A quality barista in the making.
Thank you, this will be our first port of call the next time we visit Sandwich.

Lovely tea. Excellent blue berry cake. And great jubilee cupcakes. Great location in Sandwich. The sandwiches looked great too, as they should in this town. Very dog friendly.

We came we conquered! Had an absolutely lovely lunch at this happy welcoming cafe. Our little ones were very welcomed and we sat in a beautiful window seat. Cracking burger with cheese and a side of chips, the service was excellent and so nice to hear a happy kitchen in the background. The kids enjoyed a lovely home made sausage roll cut into doggie bite sized bits. Thankyou so much for a happy lunch in a very stressed world! We will come again xxx
