You know you're not coming here for the finest experience of Chinese cuisine. You're coming here for that indulgent mid range that switches the monotony of homemade meals and leaves you slumped on your sofa. And phoenix does it superbly. Only complaint is the spare ribs - sauce was eh. Otherwise it was great - tasted exactly like the joint my family frequented growing up elsewhere, and I'm incredibly glad to finally fill that hole after 2 years in London.
DO NOT COME HERE- I watched them in the kitchen as they threw oil everywhere. I ordered the chicken curry and it was just drenched in oil and the Chinese curry sauce did not taste anything like Chinese curry sauce it was a rip off and all fake!! Seriously waste of time and money considering they only take CASH
Lovely gentleman took our order and was very pleasant, but when we got home the food was not tasty the prawn curry tasted more like Indian and the prawns rubbery, and the pancake roll was all greasy and bubbly overcooked batter, definitely not going back, which is a shame as it use to be wonderful
I used to go here when I lived in Central st 30 years ago, ordered a take away on my birthday Monday & it was just as tasty as back then, delivery very quick & gave a tip, getting again today yum & very cost effective and I’m fussy when it comes to any thing cooked for me!
Lived in the area for over 25 years and have never needed to find a new Chinese! Consistently the best of the best, only shame is they don’t do grilled dumplings ???? But that magical curry sauce they make can make up for that easy :D

Food shocking!! Soup went straight to the toilet. Old off taste. I should have been alerted when I was asked to come back in 5 minutes. Lovely staff. But instead of tasty Kung Po we received a very fiery carrot and uncooked chicken. Unbeatable. Really really horrible horrible food.
Delivery drivers are not careful with your food twice Iv received my order covered in sauce and food all over the place 1st time lovely sorted problem 2nd time the guy was so rude told me I was lying even tho I said I would give him the food back horrible Chinese do not order from here save your money they are rude worst Chinese ever food isn’t good the food was lovely before but I think maybe new people have taken it over but food definitely doesn’t taste how it used to ,gone down hill
