After a long wait (25 mins), although we were the only ones there at noon, the fish it's self was worth the wait. However, the batter was soggy, and the chips were underdone. The scraps were tasty, although given no one was in the mountain of scraps can be considered from the day before. Cash only too.
I'm not from the UK, so perhaps I'm just used to fish and chips done differently, but I would not go here again. The fish was extremely oily (paper it was wrapped in was saturated with oil) and the batter on the piece I had was not at all crisp (was limp and falling off the fish - although my wife said the batter on hers was crisp...). The chips were also limp and not at all crisp. I did not enjoy the meal at all and wished I was back in Australia where I enjoy our local fish and chips. We got a bag of scraps (something I have never heard of in Oz) and that was pleasant enough.
Just the BEST takeaway ever. The garlic sauce is amazing...everyone who visits us from down south loves the garlic and chilli sauce.....along with the chips, pizzas and kebabs. Would highly recommend
Really good food. Chicken parmesan is by far the best I've had. Been going for a long while now and I can't find a fault with them. Great customer service and it's my family and friends go to place now.
Very fresh & tasty food always and the staff are also very friendly and welcoming. Wouldn’t go to any other shop as you pay for good quality food here.
Great fish and chips! Also do a good parmo on an evening.. Do not get salt and vinegar with the parmo though, that would be wrong.
Been going here for about 2 years only get parmos got one before Christmas and it was terrible but give them benefit of the doubt and got one last night and it was probably one of the worst I've ever had never again manjaros from now on 10 times better quality
