I had the clutch and DMF go on my car last January 2023 and these guys got me booked in at short notice, got it repaired quicker than initially expected. Really good service from start to finish, I can’t recommend them enough! Also apologies for not posting a review sooner. ????
Arrived in St Austell on a week's holiday to find oil pouring from beneath my trusty car. Pouring with rain in an unknown town, at 4pm on a Friday afternoon, I sought a garage to repair my vehicle. After trying a couple (one of which was booked up till 2024!), I was recommended to try Paul Evely Services. Once over the initial humorous banter at my arrival at such a time and my expectation of booking in my car, the most pleasant receptionist and helpful bespectacled gentleman realised my plight. He promised to get a mechanic to examine the car the next morning. The following morning a mechanic rang and said he would source a crankshaft oil seal and replace it on Monday. This was duly carried out and I received a call midday to say that the car was ready for collection. I can recommend Paul Evely Services for a swift repair, with good communication at a reasonable price. Thank you all so much.
I recently had the evil red eye of the EMS come on. This followed having the filters including the fuel changed. I contacted Paul Evely's garage, explained the problem and arranged to take my vehicle in. About 4 hours later, fault had been located, repaired and vehicle returned. Cost very reasonable. My partners car unexpectedly had issues with his power steering. We were only into 6 days of a 2 week holiday. We trieda few places who wouldn't give us the time of day. we passed Paul Evelys repair garage, what a great response we had, they were mega busy but Paul took time out to have a look . He said if we took the car back tomorrow morning he would try and fit it in. Later in the day had a call from the garage to say to pick the car up as all done. Excellent service and a good price. 360 miles from home on holiday and my clutch went. Pedal wouldn't come off the floor. I had mycarsvan with me at Tregarton Holiday Park and Green Flag eventually towed me there after waiting almost four hours for them to arrive. The following morning I started trawling through garages within a 40 mile radius and no one would entertain me until I was recommended to try Paul Evely. I spoke to them (Wednesday morning) and they said they would look at it and it would be ready possibly Saturday or Monday at the latest. What a relief as I would be able to hire a car for that time and still be in time to tow my caravan home. Imagine my surprise and delight when, in less than 24 hours from receiving my car, Julie at Paul Evely rang to say that it was ready for collection.
