Best KPortal Reviews
We’ve had some lovely meals from here previously. However we recently had some sweet & sour pork balls which were like rubber and were inedible. A few days later I went back in for a curry and mentioned the pork balls only to be told by the person on the counter that the owners don’t speak English. This in itself isn’t an issue for me. I attempted to give constructive feedback but to no avail. Maybe I should have suggested Google translate ????
Sorry to say worse Chinese I have ever experienced, can't say eaten because majority of it was placed in the bin, a total waste of £31.00. Food was overcooked, greasy and lacking in taste.
I thought satay chicken is served in a peanut sauce not vegetables.
The salt and pepper ribs were more like bones in batter.
The sweet and sour chicken balls had a nice added extra... a hair in the batter.
The crispy aromatic duck.. tasteless.
Prawn toast or was it fried bread?
Will not be returning and would definitely NOT recommend.
Tried panda Palace after hearing it was under new management.
Good service,value and tasty.
We will definitely be regular visitors.
Had a meal just after Christmas and was disappointed.
The rice dishes didn't seem fresh and was most likely microwaved.
Hopefully it was a one off experience?
Absolutely amazing food only problem was I was missing the egg fried rice from the meal for 1s
Gave them another try a couple of weeks ago, but no different luke warm at best. Apparently it has changed hands several time in the last year, guess I'll wait for the next owners, this lot wont last as its rubbish. I think they must be reheating the food rather than cooking from fresh, was ready for collection in less than ten minutes but the food was barely warm, such a shame as they were making good food not greasy or over salty and hot. Not been for a few months but this was awful. I have removed my previous 5 star review.
Normaly very good but tonight not so good seemed to be more onion than chicken in the chicken curry will be trying binbrook next time
We're here on holiday in the area. Giving it 5 stars, 4.5 would be my actual rating, prices are good, portions are good, amount of meat is very good. 2 roast pork chow mein, roast pork fried rice, ribs, chips, prawn toast. Free prawn crackers, free spring rolls (or chicken wings). £30. Everything tasted nice, a little more oil than we'd prefer and chow meins where "dry" as in no sauce which we didn't expect (but sometimes request from our local). Recommended.
First experience here was great, friendly lady in shop, £14.10 for a house special chow mein, portion of chips & salt n pepper chicken. All of which was very tasty and enough for 2.5 people to share. Came with prawn crackers too.
