The outside may look scruffy & uninviting, but as I always say, don't judge a book by it's cover. If you venture inside, you'll have discovered one of Mablethorpe's best takeaways, offering great Chinese food, prices & service.
On our last visit we were served by their Son, who was surprisingly professional & intelligent young man, and had a friendly & polite manner, as they all do. Although they offer delivery to the local caravan parks, we prefer to just pop in, as being further along Victoria Rd, it's fairly easy to park outside. Service is efficient, so our order is usually ready in about 10 minutes, unless really busy.
The food here is great, well cooked & very tasty, not all greasy like some, and so far, no mistakes with our orders. It's also very good value, as the prices are better than average as are the portion sizes.
(I've added some pictures showing our last order & menu which we enjoyed at our caravan. We tend to order mostly the same food, so it was £21, and there was plenty for the 3 of us)
We've had a static caravan in Mablethorpe for many years, so over time, have tried practically every takeaway around, and I must admit, we were always put off of trying this place, solely due to the state of the exterior. It must put most people off, and really does need either tearing down, or at the very least repainting, and is the only reason I'm giving 4, and 5 stars, as everything else is excellent. I'm really pleased that we overlooked it's appearance & gave it a try, as it's become one of our favourites.
Food is not too bad but my chowmein was drowned in oil. They have a young child on the checkout and only accept payment by cash or bank transfer.
If this is the best Chinese in Mablethorpe I would sooner find a kebab shop....
The food was very tasty, delivered on time and was very reasonably priced. Four people very well fed for £30. Plus we got given a lovely Chinese calander which was a very tasteful touch. I'll definitely be back again.
Been ordering meals for months every week and always great portions and delivery is on time, food is hot and delivery driver always curious and polite.
Never ordered from here before this evening and definitely wouldn't again Absolutely awful food!! The start to the order process the lady sounded like she could be arsed with the hassle of the order then the food arrived and was Absolutely disgusting. The chicken was horrid and really dry. The rice was dry also the noodles had no flavour. Partner called to complain to which the lady on the phone stated we could not have our money back. So basically we are out of pocket and the bin has received the rubbish they put out as a meal to be fair it is exactly where it belongs. Will never order from there again thats for sure and wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy.

We've come to Mablethorpe for a break, and we couldn't be bothered to cook the 1st night. Having looked at reviews online, this Chinese seemed the best
The wife went for the Mega Munch Box, and she only managed half of it.
I had sweet n sour chicken balls, with mushroom and chicken fried rice, and son had Sausage and chips.
The food was hot n fresh, we only had to wait 15 mins, however was so hot when we got back to site.
It's cash only that's why we went to collect, as had to go to cash point first.
Can I state. They deliver to all the local caravan sites, waiting at the entrance. I would definitely recommend to others
