We had our lunch from Palmerstons after our hike from The Hermitage. It was a perfect end to our day after the walk. We had the club sandwich and mature cheddar sandwich, both were lovely and filling.Very welcoming though it was nearly their closing time. Its worth the price and would definitely be going back! Highly recommend!
Stopped here for a quick lunch on a trip over from N. Ireland - such a lovely warm welcome. We had salmon open sandwich and club sandwich- so impressed with fresh bread, real butter and generous fillings.
We stopped in Dunkeld on our way along the A9 as we were traveling with our 3 week old daughter. Walking along the high street we went in here as it looked welcoming and the staff were fantastic. They offered to move chairs to accommodate us and our pram straight away, and were really supportive as our baby fussed. My wife felt comfortable to breastfeed for the first time in public, helped by the atmosphere of the friendly staff.
Food was great and came quickly, portions were generous. Toilets were accessible and had space to change.
We would definitely come again as it's a delightful spot on our route.
Excellent busy wee café on the high Street with an affordable menu. The food is a good mix on the menu , look out for the soup of the day ,Service is friendly , the café is dog friendly
Amazing baked potato and the best apple & toffee scone ever - freshly baked that morning. Florin and the girls were very attentive and kind. Lovely place for a spot of lunch. Would highly recommend and definitely be back soon.
What impressed us the most was the very friendly welcome.
The service was so efficient and friendly. The food was amazing.
The staff also came and asked if everything was ok. Very nice touch. We will definitely be back next time in Dunkeld .
Visited for lunch today with our dog, what a great place. Really tasty food and good portion sizes, at a decent price. We both had the soup and bread/oatcakes which was lovely, 2 slices of thick granary bread and 2 oatcakes. I had a delicious rock bun with homemade jam and my partner a slice of coffee sponge cake. The real star of the show was the lady that served us, very friendly and attentive with nice banter. Highly recommend, the dog was given a treat too!
This was the perfect place for a pitstop! Service is friendly, The room is very cozy, but most important food and coffee was just great! Whatever you do, don’t miss the shortbread! Self-made and delicious. If i am again in the area, I will definitely visit this place again!
