Bought my first car from p1 autos and got to say what a great experience it was. Staff were all polite and extremely helpful. Highly recommended!
Bought my car in august, was promised documents would be in the car with 2 keys and full service history however they weren’t left in car, delivery driver contacted dealer to ask where the documents were, dealer said he’d forgotten to put them in the car and that he’d post them. He said he had posted them and I gave it a week and they didn’t arrive so I messaged again and he said give it till Wednesday, if they don’t arrive then give me a message, I messaged on the Thursday after they still didn’t arrive, he then read my messages and my following messages after that and ignored all of them. My mechanic looked over the car and said the MOT is dodgy. Stay away from this guy
Well I bought a car 2 weeks ago it’s took me all that time to get a return phone call spoke to them on 3 occasions and got no where with guys and then today I got a text saying sorry but the guys have stripped the front of the car for parts for another one they had my advice is to keep away from this place all the cars and vans ate no good read the reviews

Never had such appalling service. Promises the world and delivers nothing. Promised to organise the log book for the car I bought as he or previous owner lost the original. Did absolutely nothing. Promised to sort out the DVLA with the part exchange I had, did nothing. Doesn't return phone calls. Needs to understand the meaning of "Customer Service"... answer your phone !!!!!
Absolutely first class! From the initial phone enquiry to viewing, to purchase, and the after care is top drawer! There was no pressure to purchase and being able to test drive the vehicle alone is a great touch and shows confidence in the vehicles being sold. Part exchange was easy and was given a great offer to secure the deal. When it comes to looking to upgrade or purchase another car this will be the first place I look, seriously cannot recommend highly enough. Thank you again for a hassle free experience!
I'm not from UK, but from Malaysia and looking to buy 2nd hand car. I found this place through website follows with lots of good reviews. I was greeted by Philip and he was very friendly and helpful to me. After I check out the car that I need, I want to place my deposit immediately but doesn't have any cash on hand. Philip volunteered to bring me to the nearest atm to cash out. After a few days, I went back and pay the rest of the amount by bank transfer. Due to foreign bank account, even after successful bank transfer, Philip account was forced to be freezed for a moment and have to wait about a month for clarification. With this unfortunate news, he did not blame me for it and I feel very sorry since I did not expect this to happened in the first place. He managed it expertly and calmly. I will recommend anyone to find him to buy any 2nd hand car as he will really make sure that everything is alright once out of the garage. Loved the car I bought from him.
Do not buy from here. They are untrustworthy, and lie about the cars they are selling. We went to view a Mini Cooper, that seemed a little too good to be true. It was a good price with “full log book service history” and very low mileage. We arrived just before the garage closed, but the owner was quick to tell us that he has just got off the phone with someone who is coming from 2 hours away to view the mini after us. Obviously to pressure us to make a decision on buying the car there and then. Obviously nobody was coming to view the car, because if we had have bought it then they would have driven 2 hours for nothing to a garage that would already be closed. We test drove the car and went into the office where they told me all the paper work was there. I asked where the log book with the stamps was and he said there wasn’t one, we then proceeded to show him the ad where it said it was full log book service history and he then back tracked on himself and went “oh yeah, the log book.”. Very fishy. I then luckily started reading through the paper work he had given me, to find it wasn’t full service history at all, it had been serviced from 2007-2014, then had absolutely no paper workout at all between 2014 and 2019. Then the services resumed again from 2020-2021. They had no useful explanation for this, and just said it must have gone missing. After we left this joke of a place, we then noticed that all of the descriptions on the cars they were selling on auto trader said the same thing, and were just copy and pasted from car to car with just the model of the car being changed. This place is dodgy, and will prey on the naive who don’t look into stuff like this. Do not buy from here, avoid at all costs
Having dealt with Phil from p1 autos, which I have to say was a fantastic service I received from start to finish, Nothing was to much trouble, the car itself was presented in great condition.
I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them for your next car purchase as they clearly go the extra mile and are very easy to communicate with , the whole process was seamless.
