First visit...certainly won't be our last. Absolutely perfect poached eggs, crisp streaky bacon and fresh homemade hollandaise sauce. It's is technically a cafe, but the food presentation is restaurant standard. The streak of tomatoe reduction wasn't just there for decoration, it tasted divine.
Husbands scrambles eggs on sourdough toast. Equally delicious, creamy and lightly flavoured with herbs.
Service was quick, place was spotlessly clean and staff friendly.
Highly recommend a visit here.
Fantastic little gem or a cafe. Quality of food was second to none, coffee was good, service was excellent as we entered and they moved a couple of tables together to seat us. I had a big breakfast and the portion size was large, kids and wife had the Otto breakfast (see pictures) and they loved it. Highly recommended if you like quality food.
Fabulous place!! Had the full breakfast with coffee and it was amazing!! Place is lovely and clean and staff were lovely, highly recommend if you’re in Portobello to go here for food and drinks
Great brunch experience. Lovely fresh modern addition to Porty High Street. Food was hot tasty and well presented. Fantastic hangover cure fry up. Staff helpful and attentive. Lovely bright modern interior. Menu is a breakfast/brunch list of fan favourites. Everything with a pancake is on my return to try list. Top tip: counter service, order at the till.
Had the loveliest brunch with my mum here today and will definitely be back again. Beautiful place love the decor the food was fabulous and quick to arrive and the staff so friendly. See you again soon ????
Decent new place in Portobello
I was one of the first morning customers so it was relatively quiet and plenty of seats available. I went for the classic breakfast which was good apart from the mushrooms and tomatoes being cold. The coffee was nice and strong which I enjoyed. There is lots of choice in the Portobello area but Otto is definitely worth a visit.
Very clean. We had classic breakfast and bacon roll with freshly squeezed orange juice-amazing! Congrats to the chef outstanding presentation and food was delicious our waitress was lovely well mannered and had a lovely smile great place to eat very enjoyable. Well done to all that work there
Had a full cooked breakfast and coffee today- service was fast and friendly and the food was excellent. Well worth the money, quality ingredients and very filling.
The interior is fresh and modern and a really nice relaxed atmosphere, I highly recommend a visit if you are in the area.
