Really caring Service from the Nurse this afternoon,
Thank you ????
Very good experience.
I was there for an ultrasound, I got an appointment over the phone 2-3 weeks out.
On arrival there were available parking places and parking is for free if you show a proof of appointment.
I got called in very quickly, in about 5-10 min. The healthcare staff were
quick, professional and nice.
Highly recommend this hospital. Thank you!
My mother in law had back pains following a hip replacement and was referred to the ICC, despite several miscommunications between the care home and their GP, Laura who did the X-rays was an absolute star, she liaised with the GP Surgery and did her very best to ensure that this 97 year old didn’t have to wait any longer than necessary… give her a pay rise she’s worth every penny.
My appointment was 9 20 I was still sitting there at 10 30. So I went to reception told her I was leaving. I have given them one star that's being generous
The dental staff was fantastic with my autistic son, just a shame about some of the morons who park in the carpark. It must be a central point for oldhams most stupid and selfish driver's.
Went Fri. 1st Sept. Car park barriers broken as usual and car park full.
Worse. As I entered ICC I noticed people leaving. Lift not working but no reason apparent. Looked around area, found staircase and walked to 4th floor Audio clinic. No one around. Eventually told that the building was evacuated because of a fire alarm. Terrible management bordering on useless.
I wish I could give a minus. Car park - 10 too small went round 5 times apparently because the barrier is out of order non ICC patients are using it. Had to walk up a very steep hill, with a seriosly injured foot to get to the main entrance then across a reception hall to the lifts. Staff all friendly but bullying, not really in tune with someone who is going through a lot already. " I'll refer to you .. and ...". Also went today then I am supposed to go somewhere else for the same thing on Thursday. Then in a couple of weeks there again and guess what.. back to the same place the following day for the same thing again. NHS please join the dots and think about the ill and injured before funding.
Worst doctors ive ever had. Hearded in like cattel and thats if you can get an appointment
Stand at reception and have to wait 5mins for them to finish there little chin wag before they speak to you. Then sit down and wait about 30mins past your appointment before you get seen. Not because they with a patient but because they prob on phone asking there other half whats for tea.
Had about 5 different doctors in the past 3 years and not 1 of them know your history or do there homework prior to seeing you. Also since when have receptionists been able to look at your medical records.
Doctor patient confidenciality is well and truely none existant in this place. My son has a major heart condition and they prescribed the wrong doseage medicine for him.
I reverted to getting my prescription through pharmacy to you for my sciatica to save appointments for the more vulnerable . Now however the doctor just doesnt even bother acknowledging when i ask for a prescription.
Why did my old doctor have to retire. He knew my life always asked how family was because we was all with him. True gent of a doctor from me being a kid. Even used visit my house to assess me when i was a child. Now you cant even get a doctor to say hello how are you these days. Just take a seat whats the problem , there u go off ya pop, again thats if you can get to see 1. I could go on with way more extreme like nearly killing my child as a baby fobbing us off with viruses when we knew better ourselves but just to long a story.
