I think we have new favorite bakery. Amazing bread, probably the best we have eaten so far in the UK. We bought sourdough chabatta, donuts and quiche. Absolute perfection, delicious-everything.

Highly recommend stopping off to visit this fabulous family owned and run bakery. Everything is made lovingly from scratch with proper fresh ingredients. None of these numbered fillers or preservatives. The bread is baked in a wood fire oven with many varieties to choose from. We loved our bread rolls filled with wood oven baked Mediterranean vegetables and hummus. Hot cross buns, cinnamon buns, and doughnuts are just some of the other treats to be enjoyed.

Fabulous bread but no phone number or way of ordering ahead of time and when you live a distance away you can go there and find they don't have what you need!

It lives up to its reputation. Truly is one of the best bakeries I have visited.

The feta and spinach flatbread is particularly good.

Absolutely stunning bakery. Small, family run place with glorious cinemon rolls and donuts. The sourdough bread is a gift from heaven.

The Old Malthouse Bakery should be your 'One Stop Shop' for all Breads and Sweet-Treats. The quality of the fresh daily homemade Bread here is fantastic. Whether you want, White, Wholemeal, Granary or the Flagship Sourdough. If you want something with a Mediterranean flavour, why not try the fantastically formidable Foccaccia full of olives & sundried tomatoes or the really authentic Ciabatta . If you prefer something sweeter the doughnuts & cinnamon swirls are Absolutely Amazing. If savoury scones and quiches are more your thing you will not be disappointed -Believe Me!!!

David and team produce the most amazing sourdough!!! We travel out of our way to buy it. Great cakes too, excellent coffee a good addition, also nice to see the Crow Farm shop partnership working with the pork pies and sausage rolls.

The best bakery around. If you want traditional, home style bread and backed goods do yourself a favour and visit the Old Malthouse Bakery. The bread is great and the donuts are out of this world.
