First visited the Ochil Hills when I was doing my Scottish Ancestry research. I visited the small villages of Menstrie, Alva & Tillicoultry, and the hills were a stunning feature of these villages. Worth a visit for fell walking. Not far away, is Alloa and Stirling Castle and the Wallace Monument.
Only came to google this because of the highland spring water.
The Ochil Hills range are a fantastic and sometimes breathtaking place in the heart of Central Scotland with easily accessible routes for all beginners through to experienced walkers.
The ochil hills give phenomenal views of Forth Valley and surrounding areas ! For hill walkers they are a perfect training ground before heading into the Trossochs, Highlands & Islands...cmp'18
