What a hidden treasure in Stanley..
I called in this gorgeous, quaint little café by chance and I must say I was far from disappointed with my experience. The food was delicious, both myself and my friend ordered different things and we were both very impressed with everything. Lovely little gift shop including gift bags for dogs which I think is a nice touch! Lots of dog walkers around our area. The staff were super friendly and attentive. The pricing is more than fair, dare I say cheap! (100% value for money!) Beautifully decorated with a "homey" feel to it. Very welcoming. Could not fault this place at all, looking forward to my next visit ???? 5⭐+
Such a gorgeous little cafe, that serves an all day breakfast for vegetarians! The prices are so reasonable for the amount of food that you receive and the standards are hard to compete with. All of the staff are incredibly friendly and welcoming. I would definitely recommend here for your next lunch date.
Thought we’d try the takeout Sunday lunch this weekend, and not disappointed with the service and the food, ample amount of food for both of us. We certainly will be booking a table very soon to try the cakes and coffee, I would certainly recommend this local eatery to everyone. Number 17 coffee shop/bistro Dipton, County Durham.
This cafe is amazing, staff are lovely, friendly and welcoming. The food is top tier in quality and price, it tasted great, especially the Sunday roast. The vibes are immaculate. The cakes and desserts…mouthwatering!
Went for the special breakfast deal which was fantastic. The rest of the menu looks great and the prices very reasonable. Couldn't resist a takeaway cake ....lovely Victoria sandwich cake. Going there again next week with family. Very friendly and efficient staff. A great find. ????

Called in today 21/1/24 for Sunday lunch. Very attentive staff, no long wait here. Order taken within 10 mins (2 beef lunches & a burger + drinks). Drinks arrived after 5 mins & meals @ 5 mins later. Good sized portions, veg cooked just right (nice little bite to veg, mash creamy), meat cooked well. All in all very nice. Chef came to ask if everything was ok & was pleased when we said yes. Very reasonably priced, attentive & friendly staff. Will definitely be back for more. Definitely worth a visit.
